Great group of singer from all around the world gathered to sing a lovely song that makes me cry. Thank you so much and for Sister Web, everyone will surly miss you. Much Mahalo's.
I needed an real life angel today to help me deal with some heavy heavy grief. You were my angels and for that I thank you from the very bottom of my heart. May the Good Lord bless and keep you now and forever. Richard
This is a beautiful piece of music. No choir singing to God needs to be perfect..... St Thomas Aquinas said that a hymn is the praise of God with song; a song is the exultation of the mind dwelling on eternal things, bursting forth in the voice. To use a God given talent to sing our prayers & praise to our God is a beautiful thing....... well done folks.
the young lady Marion Smith is obviously a testament to holiness: her perception into this psalm is the universal love and mercy Christ has for every human being. In adition , I thought the chorus presentation was beautiful and spirit filled. God bless them..
Science is filled with many confirmations of facts as outlined in the bible. No-one controls me, but I praise the Lord and live with the confidence of his love. My prayer is that you too will be touched by is open hands.
I recently heard this piece for the first time and will be singing it during communion soon. It is a beautiful hymn lyrically as well as melodically. This is a beautiful rendition.
I thought that the performance was absolutely beautiful. The personal testimony at the beginning set the whole tone, which was reverent, dedicated and a true joy to hear. I was tearful throughout, as I should have been whilst listening to the promises of our God. Thank you so much.....Robert
Its mothers day today and this song from your choir just made my day. It was so inspiring and beautiful. I was crying thinking of how all my families are in the mainland and I am here in Japan. Thank you for such an outstanding performance for all to hear. God bless! Marilyn Speights Sasebo, Japan
I first heard this beautiful hymn many years ago and we still sing it at Mass. This version was very well done. Uplifting voices that stir the soul! Thank you, Melodiegurl, for posting this hopeful and stirring video! : - )
Well done. Our choir has this arrangement...with these young voices the parts are very clear (though it sounds a bit richer with more mature baritones and tenors). A splendid performance!!
Melodiegurl, Thank you so much for this video. I am a choirmaster in a church, and would like to know where to get the score for this beautiful song. Can anyone lend me a helping hand?
Thanks, I try to let it go. But I just get so annoyed sometimes. I don't run around screaming your going to burn for not believing so I just wish others would stop trying to make it seem like believers are stupid or uneducated or whatever other thing that they decided this week. =) Thanks for the reply!
I had the honor of taking his 300 level course in College. His real genius is his love and knowledge of Church history. Music was just a little thing he did when he was young.
Acctually most people and historians will agree that Jesus existed and was a great prophet, the disput comes when you are trying to decide if he was the savoir and son of God or not. I do agree however that religon in general created to give morality to people.
While you are correct 33% of people are Christian, you are forgetting one thing, 21% of people are from the Islamic faith. People from the Islamic faith also believe that Jesus existed, Jesus is not their savior, but he is a prophet. That means 50% of people believe in Jesus' existence. That fact does not include the amount Jewish religions that accept Jesus as a historical figure.
It's ok. I love the song, but the vowels are too spread, you tell on the "ah" vowel that the mouth is horizontal, not vertical. It also sounds nasal. Director work on vowel shapes.
Islamic and some Jewish faiths believe Jesus existed, that substanstially raises any statstic as while Christianity is 33% of the religions of world, Islams faith is another 21%. Beside the point that this is a just a beautiful song with or without faith involved.
Furthermore, if you would research scholarly articles you would find that you are completely wrong about historians and Jesus. MOST historians believe in Jesus. I will not get into a UA-cam comment battle with you. So if you feel you need to have the last word go on and post it, but be aware that I know you are wrong and others who bother to research know you are wrong. Try not to look too ignorant.

actually, Christianity is the 2nd largest religion in the world. & I am sure that some do believe there was a man named Jesus.
