I made these exactly as the recipe says. I used about a teaspoon of liquid stevia which turned out just fine. Maybe just a little more next time. They have to be kept frozen or refrigerated otherwise they get too soft and messy. Maybe next time I would try adding some nuts or sprinkle with a little sea salt. I might try experimenting with this and try using a mixer to add a little air to it.

Hi John. I sometimes get comments about something being too sweet or a little too bitter. The beautiful thing about this is that you can taste it before you harden it and adjust accordingly. I like your nuts and salt ideas! Other pure fat solids would work fine as well, such as lard and ghee. Think about what bacon fat would taste like.... Thanks for you input John!

Try cocoa butter as your fat.heat very gently and use powdered sweetener and flavors.if you use any ingredient with water chocolate will SEIZE UP.His liquid sweetener might be glycerine based. Please watch more videos or use his exact ingredients.Be especially careful with adams brand flavorings or ruined batches and wasted money will occur

OR in my silicone muffin trays put a level 1 layer of frozen blue berries & put a few T of slighly cooled choc. Mixture on top, it freezes instantly, store in freezer in my large almond flour bags

Thank you SO much!!!! It's really brilliant. I do not like to do work in the kitchen so I need simplicity. I am trying to do keto but I have a real love for chocolate. I eat 85% dark chocolate but it still has some sugar and, over time, it felt like I needed an alternative. I like Lily's but it's expensive and I kept thinking that I need to just find an idea for a good mix of fat, cacao and sweet. That's all I want! Coconut oil has really helped me heal so you just gave me the perfect mix. I made them right away! I shared with my husband and my kids, they liked them too! Oh yeah, I was extra cute and made them into hearts (heart mold). ❤

Can you use it in baking chocolate chip cookies? Does the coconut oil make it melt too much?

tamie you can use this recipe and add 2 TBS heavy cream.
I use melted cocoa butter (chopped amd melt in mircowave, melts slowly). Instead of coconut oil.
