LOL that's what my boys keep telling me about mine I've had mine since the 18th of December I haven't even put a battery into it yet LOL just been doing detail work set doing the necessary maintenance to keep sand out.
@@LuisLPRCs what's the point of using thread locker then it's ment to be used in the threads not the head and on ally parts a little heat will break the bond

Hey Luis, lovin the vids! Keepin it classy. Have you noticed any front suspension travel loss from the front GPM sway bar links compared to the stock ones? I read a comment somewhere saying that the front GPM links have a design flaw that reduces front travel.
Thanks, I dont have that problem. It fits perfectly and there the same size as the plastic ones. Only difference is Plastics flexes Aluminum does not. I also changed all the plastic links to stainless steel ones. This is the first time I heard about this issue.
Nice, Luis. I have these on my wish list. Are you going to do the front A-arms in aluminum too? I did the GPM upper and lower arms on mine. Love them. You can check them on my channel. Keep up the good work!
There's a set of lower arms in aluminum, designed just like the stock ones in plastic, but in solid aluminum. Look great, but very heavy and around $ 90-100 a pair. I went for the GPM's. Bashed my UDR today for 1 1/2 hour, bulletproof! Quick tip: replace the stock front driveshaft by an aluminum one. I see everybody on YT breaking them, myself included.
Ronald Harkema I'm waiting to see how the lower arms are from Hot Racing. I seen different styles of lower arms on Ebay. Yeah heard the front driveshaft are breaking. I'm being patient with some of these parts because some companies are coming out with parts all late.
There's still a lot of aluminum upgrades to come. I saw the first CNC-ed rear axle for the UDR online. Price was a bit too steep for me (€ 208,00/$ 240,00). I'm patiently waiting too for prices to come down and more variety to be available. Traxxas is missing the boat on this one. Most Chinese companies have tons of upgrades already for the UDR and most of them of good quality and very affordable.
Thanks! Got them on Ebay. They are from China. When you go on Ebay Type Traxxas UDR. Then all the Hop Up parts will pop up. Should be one the first page.
I see you put the thread lock just on the head of the bolts does this hold as well as it would putting it on the thread as the name suggests, just curious as I have never tried doing that, always put it either in the thread hole or on the bolt..
Yes it will hold. I put it on the top of the tread. Remeber the srew is going all the way across when it comes to the links. You cant put it in the middle.
Nice upgrade my brotha it’s coming along super cool👍
Thanks
Thanks that you support GPM Racing bro have fun
I know who you are. Your on Facebook in the RC forums. 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

Why are you putting the thread lock on the top of the screw? The treads are on the other end of the screw?
I like to put it on top because its easier to unscrew in the future. Plus less chances of stripping the hole all the way.
