Girl! You are the bomb! I've been watching ALL your videos since i got back into color 2 years ago. Been in the industry for 33 years and ran away from color in the late 80's because there wasn't anyone who left with beautiful hair. Dry, yellow, brassy, nasty hair. But that changed and I'm in it full on. Thanks for all your hard work at putting this content out. I do all your foil work placement and bleach out and tone. The way you tackle bleach outs, Perfection!

Love this content! I'm a seasoned stylist but still enjoyed all of it. Love the realness and yes, it's probably best you keep sports out of your comparisons. 😂❤

I’m a client and I can tell you the most unprofessional thing I’ve encountered happened when I tried to lighten my hair from light brown and had sent her a very buttery blonde photo. Just be honest if you can’t or won’t help someone! The salon said they got it. At the apt.,She got authoritatively defensive as I sat down! Stated she had never received it, then whipped out a photo of her own choosing ( it was platinum)spent 4 hours on my hair and colored it slightly lighter. But charged for a full foil. She was a level 2 stylist but could have been more open about her ability. She was nasty👿I will never visit her again. The owner knows and fixed it for me, giving me a discount. Stated the employee was using color to lift color and may not have the experience to do what I asked. Just point me to someone who can!Blonde hater!🤥🤣

Amazing video, I just recently graduated from HAA in Langley :) Agree with everything you said. So nice to hear you talking about making mistakes & ways to fix, also the promotion ideas to grow clientele.

Thanks you so much for this wonderful advice, i really love your videos and i'm excited to see more. just coming up on my first year as a stylist. I'd love to hear your thoughts on a couple things. Is it normal to be paid below minimum wage in a commission based salon? Is it normal to be fired immediately and not be allowed to finish a 2 weeks notice if you're moving to a different salon? there's a few things that make me question if I'm in a toxic salon and if I should try to leave but I'm worried other salons will be worse. Thank yo again, your videos are always so helpful.

If you work in Canada, (I’m not sure about the states) you cannot be paid below minimum wage. At all. Also being told to leave when you’ve given your two weeks notice means they have to pay you severance for those two weeks.
This is a toxic salon. I would leave if I were you! A good place to start as a newbie in hair is a large corporate chain! I know it sounds like the opposite but I would rather be treated like a number than to be treated like scum 🥰 my first salon was toxic. I left for a corporate chain salon and I’m so happy I did

You’re absolutely correct on Everything, I’ve been a salon owner and independent stylist now for well over 30 yrs 🥳❤️… I still love what I do. I appreciate your transparency and love of the industry as well. I also agree we as stylists need to constantly sharpen our skills, or we go out with the dinosaurs 🤦‍♀️🥹
Keep up the great work you’re helping So many people ❤️
