- An updated and shortened version of my tutorial on how to get dinosaurs into the aviary in Jurassic World Evolution 2, for your convenience

I'm glad this is still a thing. I think you were right. If they haven't patched it yet, they never will. None of us want them to patch it anyways.
Imo they should just patch it and give official support for it
They actually improved it, the dinosaurs used to be mute in the aviaries, but they updated it to allow them to roar and make sounds

@@UsernameWasTakenWasTaken, it's not patched out of the game. Seeing this I wanted to make sure it still works, I released a purple and blue Acrocanthosaurus into an aviary. It still works.
@@TribbleArtCreations I tried yesterday and it wouldn’t save fact that I selected the dinosaur, every time I clicked on the aviary hatchery and opened the genome library there was not way the see it.
Imagine when someone releases the Indominus Rex, he is just shaped like a bird and flying around 😂

Honestly the aviary seems like a safer enclosure than the dinosaurs actual enclosures.

yup i put up 4 layers of fence because my indoraptor and indomonous would constantly escape
im so happy they didnt patch it most of my parks are natural ecosystems and i use these aviarys to separate dinosaurs
Important to keep in mind that ranger teams and transport CANNOT access the land dinos in the aviary. So carnivore feeders can't be maintained, dead dinos can't be removed, and comfort levels can't be tracked. Just an FYI
That's why you should exclusively use this on sandbox mode where none of that matters
The only problem I have with this is I can’t hear my Dino’s in the aviary they completely silent but if I zoom out of the aviary then I can hear them
use the metal aviaries :) Then you will have sound
This is because (obviously) this is hardly intentional behavior.
Dinosaurs were never meant to be put into the Aviaries.

You probably already know this but it works backwards/ with lagoon and hatchery I tested my backwards theory after I saw your original video when I was making my biosyn nature park and I used the hatchery to realse the flying Dinos. And let me tell you it looks awesome. So EVO if you aren’t sure try it your self!
Well now you can release flying reptiles out in the wild without doing this trick anyway

I wish they could break into the cages like the indominus in Jurassic world I also wish they had baby dinosaurs 😃

i remember the times i used to put the hatchery as close as possible to the aviary and breed as much dinos as possible in the hope that during the animation some would clip through

Also you can release the aviary Dinos by air dropping them to outside the paddock
It also works for the lagoon it just doesn’t move

Only thing I wish this game had is a person you could walk around with. Like customize your own park manager. I’d walk around in a white suit and a cane.

Well now we can put pterosaurs outside an aviary without this glitch, so that’s great

this is also how you get a flying reptile outside a aviary but its the other way around
You can do this with the lagoon too! But they kinda walk on the water, but still pretty awesome!
You can also do it for marine hatchery. An ankh walking on water
This actually useful because Rex will never escape the cage also 😂

I don't think they will fix this ever because it doesn't work in challenge mode as you can't get a mvu or ranger team in there so if you get a desiese or ailment your creatures die

Something that wasn't in the patch notes that I noticed from the gaming beavers early access and tested myself is that you can now put the goat feeder in the aviary without mods!
Edit: nevermind you could always do that 😅

How do you mean land dinosaurs, and if u mean like pterosaurs are dinosaurs they're not
Btw this works with lagoon hatcheries lol, but when you release them they will just stand on the water and not move at all

You can do this with the Lagoon too, but the dinosaurs are stuck in the idle animation and cannot move.

Works on a hybrid of the two tutorial helped me on my steamdeck!
This is true you can even do the opposite! Its a good feature to add to your park! Just theres no sound😅
