Hong Kong’s top athletes are off to Paris for the 2024 Summer Olympics. The city is fielding a smaller contingent than in the past two Summer Games, with 35 competitors including 16 men and 19 women set to represent the city in Paris. The athletes will compete in 12 sports in 13 events across France, from July 26 to August 11. Post sports reporter Paul McNamara has this preview of who to look out for.

Why don't they compete for the PRC? They have already absorbed HK.
Hong Kong had established its own Olympic Committee prior to 1997 and sports fall under ‚one country two systems‘ and is in fact one of the less contentious idiosyncrasies (something the PRC is quite willing to give up)
Should they even allow to send a team? What about team Tibet, team Macau, team Shanghai? How many teams one country can send? Another FUN FUN story, land of LAWLESSNESS!
