These videos are so very important. Maurice’s My Road Leads Home are tragic and beautiful and bring a lens of humanity to the deep causes and realities to homelessness….

stabilize the sheltering system, she says. but Houston is not talking about sheltering. they are talking about housing people more permanently.

I would rather jail the criminals that continually cause property crime and are indiscriminately shooting into camp hope than to give any more of my tax dollars to help these people who want nothing more than a handout I'm tired of helping people who are not willing to help themselves

Do you think anybody in that camp could afford 1400 a month for a studio ?

Most say lack of communication and family conflict? I guess if your like 22 and younger .... but if your in your mid 20 to 30's and are forced to seek assistance down town it's going to be for more often than not it's the results of years of behavior. Behavior that every rational person knows early on in life is unacceptable to most, irresponsible at best.. and knee those behaviors if gotten. Out of hand would lead the right wete we find them..No the average downtown chronic homless person is not some innocent victim of circumstance..hard breaks ; hard life. Bad choices sure..but these descriptive word games is the con job at every level from the bum to the program management staff needing funding .. most of the homless are living thier karma .. most of the people in the industry ... parasites feeding of the charity of others for others. And yes its just about the cut

When people actually start wanting to help and quit judging the book by its cover, then maybe, just maybe we'll get there. Most of those people are doing what they do to survive. People have been mistreated so much by other people(humans), that they don't even know what being treated right feels like anymore, like we are animals. So when they are treated right by other people(humans), that all they see is the animal side of people(humans) , that they don't even realize that they are being helped. When people start treating others as animals, eventually the ones being treated that way start seeing the people treating them like animals as animals. An eventually they start seeing all people as animals, so the ones that are trying to help us are seen as animals and not as people(humans) that actually care about other people(humans) no matter the story, now that doesn't include those child molesters.
