2 years later this car is basically a modern day Hellcat. The new 2023 SRT Demon coming out has 1,025 HP and 915 torque. Only 3,300 being made. 3,000 to the US, and 300 to Canada. Starting at 96k in the US, and 134k in Canada.

What an iconic,incredible machine !! It saddens me that machines like this at least how we know them with their big supercharged V8s are on their last legs. Electric hybrid technology will be the future. Anything in the HellCat lineup would likely have always been out of my financial reach but I’ve always enjoyed that day dream. I’m thankful to have gotten a tiny taste with my RT Shaker at least visually but I’m going to miss knowing monsters like this Demon and presently RedEye and SuperStock are out there.

Without a doubt. This is a definitely a huge staple in the history of American muscle and I've yet to meet people who don't love and respect this car. Definitely a prized possession for us Americans. Plus it jump started a whole movement with everyone buying hellcats, scat, track hawks. All that, all started here.

How would you say it handles on the turns compared to a hellcat widebody?
They’re very similar, but the tires are different and the Hellcat’s bigger wheels lead to sharper turn-in.
@@MilesPerHr that's interesting I'm surprised it's that similar, I'd be scared to aggressively drive my demon through a canyon knowing that it has a softer suspension that won't help with body roll on corner's and smaller rotors compared to the Hellcat wide body

I have a demon and it was my first automatic drag car I bought I traded a c7 z06 in for it. I instantly regretted it. I’m trading it in for a viper acr I can never buy a automatic sports car again.
Manual swap the demon
A Viper ACR is not for drag racing if that’s your goal. The ACR is a track car meant for corners. That’s not to say you CANT make it a drag car, but it defeats the purpose of the ACR over a GTS
