80's perhaps the best decade with knight rider , Airwolf, Streethawk , The A team, Macgyver.... etc etc ...well that was the best era for such memorable tv series. 💓from mauritius
Haha! Ki laroute! 😆
Miss the 80s
What MacGyver couldn't do without duct tape ain't worth doing!
You know your stuff 💪
Facts
Hasselhoff could have turned his back on this role, having ended 34 years ago. However, he continues to embrace it, engage with fans, and share the positive message that Knight Rider brought to us all. He is a real celebrity.
Nicest guy I've ever met, met him at a convention and was only allocated the usual few minutes to speak but then at the end of the session my friend and I were able to go back and speak to him again for about 15 mins, was a great experience.
He became somewhat famous during the series. Then after it ended he became MEGA famous for exactly the reason you mentioned.
Plus, he's just a cool & chill fella who loves the life he's been blessed to have!
I am lucky that I am NO celebrity. I would turn crazy, wherever you go people coming to you with cameras. Sounds to me like a nightmare.
& Voodoo Knight was the final episode of the series, It was shown on April 4, 1986.
KNIGHT RIDER; September 26, 1982 To April 4, 1986 (NBC)
I'm in my 40s, my entire generation knows exactly how I feel seeing kitt and the Hoff
It's the same with the A team van. Here in the North East of England there's several replicas in my home to we have a VW transporter and a Ford transit A team van replica which look awesome. Also in Leeds there's the original GMC replica which is up for hire. Amazing
I’m 38 but I understand completely I would of completely fanboyed out seeing The Hoff & Kitt in person lol
Same here … I would have loved to have been there
Hells yeah! 46 here:) Kitt and da Hoff:)
40 in March,
1:23 "Don't Hassle the Hoff" LOL That was gold.
LOL, she kept yelling out David, David!, David!
It's clear that David Hasselhoff is a good man, respects his fans, and has lots of fun meeting people.
I've met him before at a convention in Australia and he really is genuine nice guy and has plenty of time for his fans.
And he likes hamburgers!
He knows his fans. Baywatch? please... Knight Rider? Yes x 100.
@Thystaff Thywill look man we've all been through shit in our lives just need to find ways of eventually dealing with the bad side of life :) if you hass the Hoff I'm Gonna have to call in The Kitt, so nothing to see here ok move along along and Enjooooooy
@@cuckoonut1208 bay watch was great too though
Kitt was way ahead of it's time. Still looks good as a car.
Saw the show recently and thought, that the car still looks awesome after 40 years.
Indeed
It's a timeless design
Boiii!!!! .. You knew what was up!! 👍👍🙂🙂
So was The USS Enterprise from Star Trek...
Imagine looking in your mirror and seeing KITT and the Hoff just casually following you in traffic.
That would be cool!,- If I where there, and I didn't know he was coming, I would have pissed my pants when he pulled up!
Happened to me in London ! A guy own a car just like this one , the car was talking 😂😂
That would be surreal
that happened somewhere to someone. cool af
I’d talk to my psychologist. Doc, I’m reliving my childhood. I thought I saw KITT and the Hoff in my rear view.
Man...this would've turned me into a 6 year old again, instantly. David seems like a really cool person.
Love how awesome he drives it in like a champ. The Hoff is so awesome. No one could ever play Knight Rider but him.
He did pull up pretty fast like a race car drive. He stepped out of KITT exuding coolness. 😎☕
I agreed
Agree 💯 percent
He's probably one the only few who has ever driven it.
It's the Hoff the man himself arriving in Kitt! It's epic!
Hasselhoff always had and has good vibes with all people, he deserves only good things
And he can laugh about himself.
Wow, one of the most epic cars!!!!
That would be amazing to see Michael & Kitt pull up like that
I was at a Clippers game back in 2016 in Loss Angeles at the Staples Center. A good looking lady pulled up in the car. Then she got out and began waxing the car. Hoff pulled up moments later in another car with a camera crew. They filmed a commercial. It was cool. He's a lot taller than he looks.
I love that distinct sound effect the lights gives as it moves from side to side.
He is a living legend!!
🍷🕶
I think that all the icons of the 80 should be recognized for their tremendous passage through the memory of millions of people who enjoy each chapter of their program.
Michael is a kind guy, one those RARE celebrities who always has time for his fans
That is so cool Mr. Hasselhoff was a good sport to please his fans . I never missed an Night rider episode .
Or dukes of hazard, the A-team, or the fall guy. Great shows with the same style. Loved them and many more.
He seems like a terrific person.
Loved that show growing up
Leaves engine running, walks away? Kitt: "err, Michael"
Why did I literally read the "err michael" in my head in kitt's voice?
@@gavinrichardson3918 you read my comment just right : )
You can tell he actually had a great time making the show and has a lot of love for it.
Imagine if Jesse Mach pulled up next to him riding Street Hawk.
Ok that's pretty badass!
He is knight rider
Some roles are just Big, that’s they define your life.
Grew up loving Knight Rider. David Hasselhoff seems like a chill bro
David Hasslhoff is a good man. Night Rider, one of my most favorite shows.
Friday's as a kid in the 80s was the best.

Knight rider
@@wealldieatthehandsoflovedones Sundays not bad either!
@@wealldieatthehandsoflovedones yeah knight rider was on then two other shows before and ater it on NBC , forgot what though?
Bruh, I’m a grown ass man and I would have been acting like I was 12.
Right?!
Werrrrrrrd!
Who wouldn't...?
David Brown so would I, because I AM 12
Facts
It's awesome how the car "KITT" and basically the entire 1980s, were pretty much the bridge between the true muscle cars of the 60s and 70s and the turbo and tuner cars of the 90s and 00s. It's the bridge between the classic era and the modern era. The Firebird used in Knight Rider is an awesome mix of old-school, muscle car, with modern electronic flare that, even though was mostly for show, much of that technology would soon become standard features in cars today. Such as screens and lit-up digital interiors. It's been awesome seeing cars today evolve into basically what the vision of KITT was back in the 80s. Which at that time, seemed light years ahead of what was out there, in terms of technology and performance.
I remember the 1990 Oldsmobile toronada had a navigation screen in the center console..
@@marybetheby5184 wow!
@@TheNotSoOrdinaryCarGuy Way ahead of it's time ..
Well said man I never really thought about it but you are right. THey can basically talk/do KITT stuff now.
I'm still salty they wouldn't declassify antigravity propulsion though. I was supposed to have UFOS/flying cars and stuff by the time I was growing up in the 00s lol.
@@N4CR5 Lol!
So pure... lovely.. smooth...childhood memories... 80s, the best ERA..
Loved the show back then, it brings me back to memory lane ! How I'd cry not getting the kitt-toy when i saw it once at a mall lol !
I can say proudly I had the car when I was a young buckaroo
this was my childhood. awesome TV show. awesome car. awesome memories.
So cool my man... always been my hero!
I miss 1980's !!!!! What A Blast !!
Yeahhhh David Hasselholf an KITT still hitting the road together!!!
LIKE IT!!!!!
He pulled up like a total G! He really knows how to handle those old Firebirds.
exaggerations...he moved quite fast, that's all. nothing that required special skills.
@@Kerveros1904 but he did it in style
@@WallKenshiro no objection regarding style. Besides he has driven this car for years. It is embedded in his blood....
@@Kerveros1904 He was trained by the chief stunt man and did a number of car stunts himself. He does know VERY well how to handle an old Firebird.
They are clunky, huge cars with very bad roadholding but so much fun to drive!
@@palimpalim5291 Every single time i saw doing a 180, a drift etc, in the series i saw a stunt doing this wearing a hasselhoff wig. No objections regarding on whether he knows how to handle the car. He would be an idiot if after 3 seasons of series and decades of rallying with it had not learned how to handle it!
I remember giving him a high five when I was a kid watching them film in downtown Chicago.
They had a bunch of different kitt cars in back in ally of building they where filming in.
That would have been awesome. There was definitely an energy and spirit present in the 80s no longer with us today.
emmet donnelly the 80’s is the last great decade in this country.
@@spi1616 I'm from the UK but America in the 80s gave the world some great shows back then, Knight Rider, A team Airwolf...things that captured our imagination and at 38 years old today still on my mind and why I have a black 1985 Right Hand Drive Transam in my yard scheduled for a restoration!
emmet donnelly I watched them all! Also most people won’t remember auto man too.
It was only on for 1 year but I watched all the episodes.
Also can’t forget hard castle and McCormack, magnum P.I.
I loved this car and guy when I was a child, plus air wolf and the A Team. I also loved Battlestar Galactica. They don't make shows nowadays for the kids like they did for us in the 80's.
David's an absolute legend!!Nuff said.
it can be the year 3000 and this car would still look awesome :)
SO TRUE!
I'm watching the entire show over. Its been 30 years, such good memories of me and the TV 📺 😌
Still brings a smile to my face after all these years
That's what life is about.Having a little fun and being a good sport
I wonder how many people are bothered by the tail lights not being screen accurate. I saw the video of the lady who built this KITT for him. The tail is an interesting hybrid of the regular car and super pursuit mode look.
This sure does bring back a lot of memories here.
At least i do have all the knight rider kitt dvd seasons 1 to 4,,,to watch over again altogether.
Not only myself but also many audiences must be looking forward to seeing the latest episodes from now on.
THE MAN!
THE MYTH!
THE LEGEND!
HASLEHOFF!
Both are idols of my childhood 😍 Best from Germany 🖤❤️💛
I’m glad he still has fun with this. And lots of fans I’ll enjoy it. As do I.
I heard a rumor that's he trying to get a movie franchise going of Knight Rider. Personally, I'd love that.
Michael Cain should play devon miles.
@@Eadweard76 good choice. I agree with that.
It was rumored, that Jensen Ackles could play as his son; being the new Knight Rider.
@@wiglafsfilms8418 the son was featured in the series reboot. This would have to be a passing of the torch movie for sure in order for fans to accept it. So long as it's the original K.I.T.T., but maybe -- maybe in a new car (like in KR2000).
@@donaldlayton437 I know. It's 2021 and they can revise, story-wise.
I'm Michael Knight of The Foundation for Law and Government; and this is my buddy K. I. T. T.!😎 (Knight Industries Two Thousand!)😎
É muita emoção presenciar essa cena, demais
David is a good man ' knight rider forever " no one can replace the legend😊😊😊😊
Amazing to see, I watched this guy as a kid, and he's in better shape than me
Don't Hassel the Hoff
LOL you guys are clever LOL
🤣 Facts
Doesn't matter the time, that car is asome
La mattina prima di andare a scuola vedevo i tuoi episodi i più belli di sempre
Hehe so cool to see this. Been so long since the fantastic show I watched as an incredibly technology interested kid.
How cool is that a 82 firebird pulling up to the 80s badass.
You mean kitt from knight rider
I fucking know that im just saying that the car is a firebird and i know its kitt
The Hoff, still killing it in '20!!!
This is amazing, nostalgic, what a sight to behold!
I'm a huge fan of this series back in the 80s. Here in SG they're showing it in HITS channel.
If I was D-Hoff, I'd spend the rest if my days just touring the country like this, visiting kids in hospitals, & talking to old Vets in VFWs around the country!
That old T/A is a work of art!!!
kids in hospitals ? or elderly in nursing homes.
The Hoff is still a legend. Kitt will always be a legend.
Night Rider, Airwolf, and A-team some 80s favorites when I was a kid!! Awesome seeing the kit car
Again it's Knight Rider with a K.
i am almost 50 and now i am crying remembering those incredible years with kitt.
Yo crecí viendo kit el auto fantástico, casi me salen las lágrimas.
after more than 30 years, I still want that car really bad
same
That was cool man!! Knight Rider is a childhood favorite. I'd be acting like a kid if I was there.
I used to skip language school classes when they interfered with Knight Rider's airtime, my parents weren't happy when they found out. Such a great series, lots of great shows and in general careless childhood
Kitt is David’s most prized possession!
Cant Beat that David and Kitt together!
I loved that he kept that sound on
One of my favourite shows back in the 80s as a kid.
Super genial j adore 😉😉
After this, he went and saved Los Angeles from a rampaging cyborg t-rex and an army of ninjas. No thanks necessary.
Thanks for sharing.
80's the golden era of TV
I think I would have just fallen to my knees, prayed to KITT and said "I'm not worthy", then grabbed the hood and kissed it LOL
I would love to have been there
Não perdia um episódio. Nostalgia total.
Michael grande e bravo attore,k.i.t.t. stupenda macchina. Bel lavoro insieme
dope!
Awesome car and awesome David!
Me and my Twin brother sat in the kit car many years ago thanks David
You both are the heros of my childhood!
Michael, why are there people with cameras?
Beautiful car...kind of like mine.
Travis Kraft make a vid on it, I’d like to see it :)
@@isaacsrandomvideos667 I have several. Here is the most recent video it is featured in ua-cam.com/video/cSPgQjoPKMk/v-deo.html
I still get excited seeing that car 40 years later
I am now 47 yrs old as I was the kid watching this TV show , for me was the best tv show for a kid at that age.
The man who skipped the legs days for ages is back !
So glad I'm not the only one who noticed his legs are the diameter of a 9 yr old girl's.
I think when you're about 6'4" you're not worried about looking like you skip leg day since everything is built for people 5'6" and under
@@jonathanryan2915 mmm no ! ask Dolph lundgreen or Lou Ferrigno if they skip leg days
この気さくでサービス精神がアメリカって感じでいいな
Damn...the quality of that paint job on Kitt is sick though 👍👍🥂🤘
Now THIS made me grin like a kid again!! 🏆🇬🇧
WTF is up with the rear lights?
Looks like whomever owns the car was going for the super pursuit mode look in the back. I dunno why, it looked like crap even back then.
the taillights were wrong, they are from the super pursuit mode.
He was in a hurry
@@ralphmacchiato3761 haha😁👍
That is why the license plate says SPMKITT. Super Pursuit Mode KITT. The woman that built the replica car used the tail lights from Super Pursuit Mode.
Eu amo essa dupla...
Definitely one off the best I use to run home a a kid to watch it
0:06 AaaUuu
I like the original kitt Not The pursuit mode kitt
I liked karr. Seemed the naughty one that I really like.
Yeah, the pursuit mode was a bit over the top.
Wow que agradable persona es David, que genial la impresión y "locura" que aún generan el y K.I.T.T. 40 años después,cuál fan de "knight rider" no desea estar en los zapatos de David en ese momento?...excelente video LIKE!!!...👍🏻💯
Damn... is the man himself...never gets old...whatta legend
