Jungle food wise, the jawans will know what to eat better than the officers since most of the jawans come from the North East who have been eating these wild leaves and non-veg items throughout their lives. And i like the style of these documentaries where the production team also focuses on the non-commisssion officers stories as well

Compulsory military training is very important for india, now not many care for the Indian soldier, many think they join the Army to die.

Well; Major Arya though I serve in the Manipur Legislature presently, the little knowledge I had during my Sainik School and being from the North East it is highly appreciated that PATRIOT covered about the Assam Rifles; the uniqueness is the unity among the different tribes in the Association/Institution... The food concerned among the North East is Non Veg and would really love if every citizen is given Military mandatory service at least for 16 months and it is said A.R are friends of the Hills... Would loved more if some focus is also given around the present scenario in the Indo Myanmar Border...Gurkhas are known in the world for their Bravery, Loyalty but if you really have the experience of meeting the people of the North East belong to the same DNA and their courage is to fight till the last breadth and the word “ Surrender” doesn’t exist in their dictionary...I also pray that mainland India give more focus regarding economic & infrastructure developmental programmes to the North East because their is a lot of Human Resource in the DNA as you can see and being proven in the field of sports, intelligence comparatively with a very meagre population e.g 25 lakhs (Manipur)...Loyalty, trust, courage, flexibility are just in their DNA and better/more education should be focused in the General Educational curriculum regarding the North East people because I have come across a lot of people mainly Northern India who are not aware that we are also Indians and the racial discrimination because of the look and being looked as Nepalis..Geography seems to be very poor though it is not all mainland Indians...Please do help if it’s your coverage that Hum Lok Jungalee nahee hain and can take a challenge and be at par with anyone from anywhere in the world in any field...Thanks...Jai Hind
