Leaving Luna off the roster is typical of US Soccer. They are tying their hands behind their back and wondering why they can't punch. The mindset of the USSF seems to be mediocracy as long as it is profitable.
Ehh Cowell hasn’t been good since u20 he’s flopped in Liga MX Diego Luna snub is baffling tho best attacking u23 player we have Duncan McGuire is awful
Pedri chose to play the last Olympics after a long club season and playing for Spain at a young age. Barca didn't stop him and he's battled injuries every year since.
Wingers and attacking midfielders are our strong point in this team fullbacks are shaky, and miles and walker are good at winning headers in the air but aren’t good w the ball at their feet as well as our keeper if we try to build out the back and play Berhalter ball we get grouped again
With USSoccer making an announcement. Like why would they make the announcement if they are going to just keep Berhalter? It is USSoccer we are talking about so I could see them totally doing that. LOL
The US can’t afford to water down their own shitty roster. They need to put their best young players in there like Reyna to get as much experience and confidence as possible to contribute back to their clueless lost suckass national team
saw the olympic team game vs japan that had no overage players or players from abroad. take kubo wasnt called up. japan demolished our team tactically and technically. that’s why i question why bring zimmerman and robinson we arent going to win it or even come close to winning it. give the young players a chance.
And now Luna and Bajraktarevic are both looking at going to other national teams..... These coaches need to wake up. If it's that some players don't just fall in line and worship the coaches they need to learn to find an understanding with them so we can have call ups at the full potential. Now we are losing good, young, creative prospects. These guys are a good showing at let's say the Olympics for the sake of the argument, from getting a move to a bigger club/league and hoping the senior team which we all know we need a creative player or two on.
In my humble opinion, Cherundolo will eventually be one of the best USMNT coaches of all time. But not right now. He has much more to accomplish then getting influenced by current USSF toxicity. Would love to see him get a chance in Europe down the road. Just like a young American standout, lets allow one of our up and coming coaches the opportunity to develop in the right environments. Hopefully by then we have ambitious leaders in charge of the National Team and not what we have now. Maybe we could consider putting together a contingent of coaches that were ex players that had stellar careers as players but have struggled as coaches. But have this contingent of younger coaches lead by an older experienced legend. The younger coaches can help gain the respect and trust of the squad but under the tutelage of one main experienced voice of reason. For Example: Head Coach Targets: Sampaoli, Rannieri, Dunga, Sarri,Low, Domenech, Benitez, Mcleish, McCarthyc Klinsmann, Favre, Peckerman or Scolari And then the contingent of young coach candidates: Robbie Keane, Philip Cocu, Patrick Kluivert, Kolo Toure, Frank DeBoer, Carlos Tevez, Jorge Simao, Guti, Petkovic, Heinze etc. This combination of older hard nosed leadership along with some of the best players of all time where all involved get something out of it, is a win-win.
I honestly have no issue w/ Tillman, Pepi not being included on the roster. Hopefully Ernie sat down w/ each of them and let them know that the expectation for both is that this upcoming season is YOUR time to take over the club, esp. in Tillman's case. So while it's a bummer that they're missing out on a potential life-changing opportunity if starting off the upcoming season on the right foot brings marked improvement in time for the 2026 WC then so be it!
Man City released Julian Alvarez for their olympic roster even after him playing in Copa America. He is at a similar club position as Pepi yet got released. Shows our pull.
Why would Klopp want to coach much worse players than can't win big games for a lot less money where the talent is far less than the fans expectations? Cherundolo WOULD take the job because it raises his profile to where he can get a much bigger Bundesliga club after he has success with the USMNT.
Why is cremaschi in this roster instead of luna and why are we taking aging CBs instead of younger ones one I can understand 1 but 2 makes no sense at all, this team will be void of goals and creativity come game time just like berfalter does with the senior team
Luna not being in this roster is way off. Hang in there with USA Diego, you've lots of support and leadership will change. Loved Cherundolo as a player. Very promising start to his managing career. The place for a young up and comer is getting reps, accumulating good and bad experience in the day in day out slog of club football. The manager for a NT is best experienced, proven top manager- why do we keep considering such green managers? For his best interest interest of the NT and Cherundolo's career- he ought stay exactly where he's at which is the perfect place to develop.
Cowel and Luna were my favorites. Hate Zimmerman, it is a total waste of a spot. We should be pushing for young TALENT and not burned-without skill player as Zimmerman. Very old and out of shape and definitely very bad with handling the ball.
Luna has the word hate tattooed on his neck. Yeah we dont need somebody like that representing our country. Its a sign of a lack of impulse control, self respect, and a lack of respect in general. On the pitch, that can be a liability, and its a bad look for the country. I am surprised no cowell. He probably got cut for that terrible mullet of his. 🤦♂️
So you're making sweeping assumptions based on a tattoo about someone you know nothing about? Nice. Everything I've heard about Luna says he's respectful and a hard worker...

Don't let up on Berhalter being fired! He needs to go!
This group looks a lot happier without McBride on! More energy, too!
The company man probably glad to avoid the awkward Gregg discussion.
No Luna or Cowell on the roster is crazy
Ehh Cowell hasn’t been good since u20 he’s flopped in Liga MX Diego Luna snub is baffling tho best attacking u23 player we have Duncan McGuire is awful

Diego Luna and Cade Cowell about to be playing for Mexico that was Greggs parting gift to us
Yeah, no one called should be picked over Cowell or Luna. The only pace is from Tolkien (a defender!) and Kevin Paredes
With USSoccer making an announcement. Like why would they make the announcement if they are going to just keep Berhalter? It is USSoccer we are talking about so I could see them totally doing that. LOL
I was gonna just come in and comment that I refuse to watch this show anymore if McBride is still on. Good to see he's not! Glad to have Meola on!
The US can’t afford to water down their own shitty roster. They need to put their best young players in there like Reyna to get as much experience and confidence as possible to contribute back to their clueless lost suckass national team

PSV also blocked one of our Moroccan players Ismael Saibari from playing. So frustrating.
Jimmy throws Dez under the bus!

So Alvarez is playing Copa and the Olympics but none of our guys are? Lame
If we can’t get heath back on the show this is the only 3 I wanna see
Also was it Earnie who made the decision about Pepi?
Why would Klopp want to coach much worse players than can't win big games for a lot less money where the talent is far less than the fans expectations?
Cherundolo WOULD take the job because it raises his profile to where he can get a much bigger Bundesliga club after he has success with the USMNT.
I though Esmir Bajraktarevic decided he was going to play for Bosnia.
The national Klopp trolling has gone beyond embarrassing to maybe pathetic. Or sad?

U.S. doesn't know what to do with a proper 10. Pause the ball..disrupt the wing play to unlock the defense? What are we...colombia?
USA have missed out on so many Olympics that Jimmy Conrad…a journalist? Who covers the sport doesn’t realize the roster is limited for the Olympics
Luna not being in this roster is way off. Hang in there with USA Diego, you've lots of support and leadership will change.

Sad... Roster smh
The roster is weak but you can't get the better players released. Probably get out of the group and lose the first game of the knockout stage.
Cowel and Luna were my favorites. Hate Zimmerman, it is a total waste of a spot. We should be pushing for young TALENT and not burned-without skill player as Zimmerman. Very old and out of shape and definitely very bad with handling the ball.
FIRE GREGG!
Pepi is overrated. He did NOTHING in the copa America
Luna has the word hate tattooed on his neck. Yeah we dont need somebody like that representing our country. Its a sign of a lack of impulse control, self respect, and a lack of respect in general. I love this American Soccer Channel so much and more than other channels I love watching Jimmy alot.🥰😍🤗❤❤❤❤❤🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍💙💙💙💙💙💯💪🙏👍
