Let's learn some advanced words and phrases that you can use to describe politicians. And because we're talking about politics, I'm going to teach you both positive and negative words.
This vocabulary is useful for those who wish to be more precise when talking about friends, family members, or colleagues because you can really use these words to describe anyone.

2:49 Unscrupulous - behaving in a way that is dishonest or unfair in order to get what you want.
5:49 Vulgar - not having or showing good manners, good taste or politeness.
8:20 Sycophant - praising people in authority in a way that is not sincere, usually in order to get some advantage from them.
10:53 Glib - speaking or spoken in a confident way, but without careful thought or honesty.
14:49 Partisan Hack - Someone who cares more about supporting a particular party or ideology thank supporting what is morally right, or factually true.
17:54 Smooth talker - Talks very confidently in a way that is likely to persuade people, but may not be sincere or honest.
21:30 Charismatic - used to describe people who have an outgoing, energetic, and likeable personality that seems to naturally draw other people to them.
24:50 Shrewd - good at judging what people or situations are really like.
27:45 Diplomatic - Skilled in negotiating, especially between states or people.
30:50 Principled - Showing strong beliefs about what he felt was right.
33:44 Eloquent - Expressing yourself readily, clearly, and effectively.
36:17 Resolute - Determined in character, action, or ideas.

I am from the middle east, I don't support neither democratic nor republican because the American politicians are biased and unfair with regard to our region. Hi Wes (sorry if I misspelled your name). I respect you as a teacher, and I respect your opinion and choice, of course. But I can’t vote for liberals for another 4 years who only promise the better life during their election and doing literally nothing after they are elected.
I live in New York City. I’m an RN and visit patients almost every day. I see how people struggle. Gas, food prices are ski high. Crime is uncontrollable -no safety: I’m afraid of my 2 daughters who take subway daily to their collage.
We had a normal life under the Trump administration. So I support Trump.
But whoever is elected, we will always have to love each other 😊
