Eli, thanks for the info. I was able to add the Bambi mode, fog lights DRL, heating/cooling seat controls to the touchscreen, Global Window mod and auto folding mirrors to my 2015 F150 Lariat.

That's a good change. I never figured out why I would have to choose between brights and fog lights in my escape.

L RBS you can get the free extended license for forscan. That will allow you enable Bambi mode.

What’s the difference between the two Bambi modes? I’m gonna be getting some pod lights to replace my fogs, and don’t want to add a switch, but not sure what the difference between the two modes? Look forward to get a ForScan soon to do some cool changes!
Nick Craig the two lines work as follows:
Top: if you have your brights on (with fogs too) and you park and turn off your truck with them still on, the next time you start the truck the brights will be off.
Bottom: After you start your truck again, the brights will still be on.

I found your video very informative being new to forscan it was a real help for me. I was wonder do you create a new profile each time you load up forscan if you made changes during a previous session so it doesn't load up modules prior to last changes ?

Awesome video and Bambi mode worked for me just like you showed BUT my 2018 F150 XLT codes are much different for doing the GT blue theme on stereo start up? Is there a specific 2018 F150 Spreadsheet yet??? I can't find one anywhere.
The experts maintaining the spreadsheet say it works for 2018 too. Usually they add a new note to say if it doesn’t work for a specific year and trim.
You may see different values, but the end result of making these changes should be the same. If you are real familiar with the software, just back it all up before you try the GT Theme.
Honestly I ended up reverting back to stock theme because I didn’t want to have dealer thinking I was playing around. It doesn’t void warranty, but if sync has an issue, some techs may give you a hard time.

Did the obd adapter automatically connect to forscan the first time you plugged it in? I'm asking because mine keeps saying that there was no ELM found. Thanks in advance
Angel De La Cruz mine did connect right away. I’ve heard of people needing to get the drivers for it to work.
What is the Globe open close thing for or do? I'm looking at buying a scanner so I can do my fog lights. I just seen you showing that global open close and was wondering what it's for. Thanks Ken
Taz Man global windows simply used the key fob to open and close the front windows when the vehicle is off. Very nice when it’s 90+ and you are walking to the truck. Can role the windows down and let out some hot air.

Awesome video. Do you know if that module will allow me to change the DRL configuration on a 2016 Edge? I'd like to turn off the headlight DRL and retain the LED foglight surround DRL. I'm upgrading to HID low beams and can't have them as a DRL.

Can you do the "high 6 mod" and have the lows, fogs, and highs come on when you turn the high beams on?? Or is this what the Bambi mod does?? It looked like your low beams were off. That's why I ask.
Riding With The Reid's yep that’s what this does. High 6 mod sounds a lot better though lol.
Thanks a lot for this! Do you know how I might turn off the double horn honk when the vehicle is running and you shut a door and the keys are on your person (not inside vehicle). It scares the crap out of me every time!

random question about forscan for 2016 f150...i swapped my instrument cluster from the 2 inch one to the 4.2 inch one and the cluster came from a truck with a electric parking brake and my truck has a regular mechanical one...i was wondering if you knew if you could change this in the icp on forscan. i see in the bcm theres coding to change it but not in the icp. thanks
Hi Brenda. I'm actually not sure on that one. My only thought here is that an electric parking brake will have an electric lock and release mechanism, so even if you could set it up in the ICP, it won't be able to actuate the mechanical brake. I would check out the Facebook group called 'ForScan Users'. They have the most knowledgeable people on the subject.

About 2-4 hours. Depends on what day of the week.
I have a 2015 Ford F-150 XL Supercab. Do you know what mods I can do with FORSCAN. I have SYNC 3 in my vehicle but have the instrument cluster that goes with it.
I'm not too sure! I'd say pretty much anything on the list that doesn't pertain to the Sync 3. There are quite a few settings that aren't related to that so you'd have plenty of stuff you could change.
I have two f 150 one 2016 and new one , you know if I can use it in the two cars? or I need to buy a linceses for each car?
sebastian borbor I’m not certain since their licensing policy is different now. But my best guess is that one license will allow you to use it on any vehicle. Each vehicle will create a different profile, but the profile, as far as I know, does not require another license.

I have a problem, I did the bambi mood and now my turn signals are hyper flashing inside the truck but they are flashing normal on the outside of the truck, that's all i did was the bambi mood nothing else. Can anyone help me with this?
Do you have LED turn signals or not? What year and trim vehicle do you have?

atmospheric82 ok I will do that, this is my kind of luck when it comes to things like this, I post a question in the forscan forum and people talk to me like I'm stupid and just need to read the instructions plus they are rude. I saved the factory setting and the way my computer saved it is a whole line of numbers so I'm going to try and set it back to the factory setting.
Shoot, most of us have all ran into a weird issue with Forscan! I turned on some Canadian feature at one point lol.
I would revert back. Try it one more time. If it does the same thing, shoot me a message.
I'm going to do the bambi mood tomorrow and I'm going to just leave it, do you know if i still have to renew my license even if I'm not going to go back into my settings on the truck?
Nope you will only have to renew the license if you decide to make more changes a couple months down the road.

Do these void any warranties at all?
No. These are simple setting changes. Only difference is dealer charges you to do them, but you can do them for free.
However, if you enter incorrect values and cause an issue with the settings, and cant figure out how to revert back to stock, the dealer will charge you if you resort to them fixing it.
What kind of headlights are those?

Do you need a driver for the obd2?
Rodel Tuazon I personally didn’t for my laptop. But some people do find they need to download a driver for the adapter.
How long does it take for forscan to except you
Usually just a couple hours. Sometimes longer if you register on the weekend.

It’s called Global Windows in the spreadsheet.

Hmmmm. I would think it should work the same as before. Existing functionality should not need Forscan, but I don't know for sure. Your best bet is to join the Facebook group called "Forscan Users". List your details in a post there, and they will help out.
