Y’all need to speak for yourself because I’m not going broke next year. I don’t care what Jordan brand is dropping! I’m not buying every single shoe that comes out. I’m only interested in 3’s and 4’s , every other shoe I will admire from a far distance. And if I don’t get any 3’s or 4’s I won’t be mad. I have enough shoes in my collection to last a lifetime.

Right, it’s like have some self control. Look how many shoes in the background you can see, imagine what we can’t see. You only have 2 feet. Most of them are buying just for the sake of telling another man you “have them” then actually wear them. Shoe tubers are wild.
I feel the exact same way I’m at the point where i stopped buying every release from years ago I only buy the ones I really want it’s honestly not even worth it to buy every single jordan release anymore that’s just me I can’t speak for anybody else

I just have to be more selective now so I can start wearing more of my shoes. Especially living in Chicago with winter, I don’t wear them when the weather is bad. And those White Thunders are nice, but I don’t need them.

Budget $3000 for 12 shoes at retail for next year (one a month on average at $250 each). Do not pay resell for any shoe.

I sell alot of shoes I double up on or shoes I don't wear. Just got rid of 4 pairs for one grail. Makes no sense to horde all these kicks to display them on a wall and not wear them. I already know my list for 2025 and it's only a few shoes I would pick up from Jordan line. I only like 1s 4s and 6s, so it's easy for me.

Like one great sneaker release a month and then spread it out to 2026. Without a doubt I will definitely be selective with my purchases but damn even doing that it’s going to be extremely expensive

We really don’t know if all of these shoes are dropping next year till Nike/Jordan brand confirms it. Myself personally I don’t need every pair and I’m also realistic I’m not going to hit on every shoe and I don’t plan on paying resale. Buy used shoes if you really can’t get the shoes right away and it will save you some money sometimes. Don’t stress over a shoe you can always get it at a later time or just move to the next shoe.
Definitely not going broke for something that is not a necessity like "hyped shoes."

Couldn't agree more, I made a document that has prioritized shoes I want, need and would be nice to have. It really helped me sort out what I actually wanna buy vs what I think I wanna buy. Got all the release dates on it as well lol
I bought my last pair of shoes for the year 2023 on Aug 1. 10 days, so far so good 😅. The last pair I bought was the yellow/black harden 8’s.
We’ll see what reality and what’s myth. I’m here for alot of these tho. Hope we get some nice W’s!

I am not going to even play head games with myself and say I am going to be more selective. I picked up 2 SB's, Kobe's, KD's and another pair of Wet Cements just this week so 2025 will be no different for me I just got to work a little harder and cut back on another hobby. Easier said than done though 😂

I try to wear them all but I have a lot that are deadstock. It’s hard to wear them all for me cause I have a job where I can’t wear sneakers. I think a lot of people have a bunch of shoes they don’t wear
@JamesMeyers big facts. I get one day a week to not wear a uniform or work on home or car. I have well over 120 pair of shoes and might wear a pair once in a year... but I will eventually wear them all. I still have shoes from 2008 I've never worn but want to. All that double up bs... stop giving money away.. no need to have more than one of the same pair.. it does not make since money wise, storage wise and so on..

Same as @smokey0217 I only buy the shoes I like. I don't care about the hype factor. I skipped all the Olympic releases. Will not buy the White Thunders either. Loving my J4 Oxidized Green and waiting on the Black Cement J3s. The only '25 shoe I'm looking forward to are the J4 SB's.

If Jordan brand is doing too much is because everyone is hyping shoes up waaaaay too much. Have some self control. “Going broke” on some shoes when you have hundreds or so pairs is wild. You only got 2 feet and how many doubles you have or triples? Just insane to me.
