Just 1hr from Shanghai lies the hidden archipelago of Zhoushan. Made up of over 400 islands, Zhoushan is as real hidden gems found east of Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. Famous for it's Putuo Mountain temples this destination is often referred to as the "Buddhist Paradise of the Sea".

The first of the islands can be accessed by driving an hour from the southern tip of Shanghai, across the ocean, to Xiao Lata Dao, or, through Ningbo to Zhoushan, which is surprisingly closer to our home in Shanghai than going the Shanghai route.

The first hotel and the montage of shots of the islands toward the end looked really nice! The beach with just rocks and no sand looked interesting but also, really painful to sit on lol. I admire Miu's ability to drive on winding roads and narrow, sloping streets~ I'd be a nervous and exhausted wreck after the first day 😅

Which one is the name of your country, the United Kingdom or Great Britain?
@@BB-yi6qn I think the actual name is “The United Kingdom of Great Britain (and Northern Ireland)”. So either name is fine. This title also covers England, Wales, and Scotland. But I am from England. Its is quite a long name haha

Not to Zhoushan island, but to the first island in the Zhoushan archipelago if you live south of Pudong it’s less than an hours drive!
