How To Make Your Own Brooder For New & Growing Chicks || Home Made Brooder

So you've got chicks. You either hatched them yourself, or bought them. They're tiny, vulnerable and make a lot of noise.
Now they need to go into a chicken brooder box. .
A brooder should be set up long before your chicks get to the stage of needing one.
Plan to have it ready several days before they arrive, whether that's by incubator or mail.
Set it up, make sure everything is in place and works, allow the heat source to warm it for several hours.
My own definition is this: "A brooder is a place of safety where baby chicks are kept warm, fed, watered and cared for until they are able to care for themselves".
