Questions to be ask sir: 1. How do one control the temperature in the brooder in a hot environment? 2. What are the types of disinfectant to be used in cleaning the kitchen house, before and after please? 3. What are the disinfectant for footbath or change of shoe? 4. Please at what stage will the flocks be out from the circle or to be free from the woody shaving circle? 5. Please what are the names of the vaccine to be on the flocks drinking water and where can I buy them 6. Sir is there any medications injection to be given to the flocks in any giving time?
Normally like every after two to three days but it also depends on de number of birds u have,if u have so many birds change daily just use your senses and eyes.
I love watching your videos ,i learn alot from all your videos untill i have been able to build a poulry house though watching your videos how i wish i could have you on my small farm to see if i did the right thing and adviced me where to get layers chicks.
Point #1, Biosecurity from the onset is very important. #2 you should give the water with liquid paraffin and glucose first before food to reduce stress and prevent constipation. #3 Then your audio was lost towards the end of the video. You can do better.
True, @olabodeajayi1585... This was meant to be a good job, but was hastily done. #1-the brooder was supposed to have been in place way so many hours earlier, not when the chicks had arrived on site. #2- the brooder was supposed to have been heated for atleast two hours or so before the introduction of the day old chicks, and not after. #3- the liquid paraffin was supposed to have been mixed in warm water so as to adequately mix the water and LP+GLUCOSE(For initial strength)+A MULTIVITAMINS COMPONENT(To ease off the journey stress). NB: This water solution was to be the first to be introduced to the chicks before the solid food intake, and not the other way around... No solid food should be introduced atleast 1(one) hr. before the water+glucose+multivitamins would have given to the newly brought in chicks, otherwise they choke, and die, or develop constipation.
Am really motivated when i watch your videos. I would love to start keeping chickens for eggs and broiler.share with you link and whats numbers and may i know if there are manuals that u sell concerning poultry business

Hi Aim agriculture, i can see you used dark polythene as a carten will in not result in more heatstress in the longrun?
Thought so. Polythene paper no no. Just use old sacks for warm and aeration.
Amazing. Had a bit of anxiety watching the water from the hose freely flowing on the ground like that. 😅
Good work ke pit up
One question will the place dry in one hour?
How long should the newspapers stay in the brooder before removing them
It usually takes me 3 good weeks for brooder preparations. The birds arrival day starts very early and ends very late. The end is a success!
Should have mentioned number of chicks and shown the lighting sufficiency and setup also.
