When you tune your guitar an octave up

- A quick jam in Nashville (high-strung) tuning. I had to give this guitar back to my bandmate, so I decided to write one last song for the road.
This tuning is like a 12-string guitar without the normal lower strings, everything is an octave up except the high B and E, which are the same.

This is just lovely. It's so pretty. I hope you never stop writing music. Thanks for sharing!
Don't worry, I won't stop!
Glad you liked it :)
Beautiful
Nashville tuning!
The MXL 770 doing respectable work here!
@@JustinAdams_music it's my modified 990, upgraded capsule, so that makes a big difference!
@@NickLeonard dislike. Unsubscibed. I liked this better when I thought it was my condenser.
I've been kicking around the idea of doing some mods like we discussed last winter when you convinced me to get the MXL
@@JustinAdams_music my capsule is a K47 style from Dachman Audio, Mic Parts is a good source too
I think that sometimes the high strings of a 12 string set were used for this tuning. Nice job! Especially like the use of harmonics.
That's the origin, now you can buy Nashville sets for acoustic or electric. I also have a tele in a weird open high strung tuning
