Apparently Mario 64 online is an actual thing and it looks like a lot of fun so that's where I got those clips from. And the Wario, Waluigi, Yoshi clips in Mario 64 are from mods. Other stuff is from vanilla games that I modified to look like it's from editor

I’ve seen other 3d concepts but this is exactly how I imagine it being. You nailed this.
As cool as it sounds, a 3D Mario Maker is sadly very unlikely to happen since levels would probably be way too hard to create for the average player.
(I'll come back to this comment if Nintendo proves me wrong)
@@unknownqwerty2525 Yes, but that's not the point of the Mario Maker series. The main gist of Mario Maker is creating levels. Of course playing other people's levels is fun, but you'd have to pay for the Nintendo Online membership to do so. I think if a Mario Maker 3D would actually happen, many people would be quite disappointed about not being able to create levels and, if they can't pay for the Nintendo Online membership, not even being able to play other people's levels. Looking at Nintendo's standards, where it's about making the game enjoyable especially for new players, Mario Maker 3D is quite unrealistic.

If we dont get mystery mushroom costumes back, I'm not playing it. If they do then (this is unlikely but) They can make them support all gamestyles, in their respective forms, as in, link is normal link in smb1, link is loz2 link in smb3, and so on.

This looks great , my cousins in another state had the first one on their Wii U, my sister and I used to make and play levels with them , those were some of my favorite gaming memories that I hold dearly to me 😄

I think if they do something like the debug mode in sonic xtreme (check it out for yourself) it would be very easy, except you would might need smm2’s ui with new course parts but boom, easier said then done

I just want a mario maker game where its as flexible as editing levels in real Mario games. Stuff like proper world maps, camera controls, collectables, warps. All of those are pretty limited in SMM2 compared to the actual games. And of course many course elements are missing compared to the base games (even a few SMB1 things are missing).
Super Mario Maker 2 is so unfinished.
Why is the 3D World style so different from the other styles?
Why is there only one extra style despite the fact that it is written "Extra styles"?
Why are there so little night skyboxes?
Why can't we put keys inside enemies that are on tracks?
Why are the mystery & weird mushrooms gone?
@@yeledcenter3906 Yeah it is a weird game. Its done as a sequel, but really it is not a massive improvement over SMM1 in the important areas (ability to design *good* levels).
@@yeledcenter3906 Because it was rushed out, the Story mode frequently shows mechanics we as the player can not use... despite the entire point of it is to inspire players and give them fun levels they can play/learn from.

1. Because it's too different to be a universal game style.
2. A second gamer style was probalby cut for some reason.
3. & 4. I don't know
5. Because it would be confusing in multiplayer.
@@citrusnx8283 it’s not that different other than "WoAh 3D!1!1!" (Even though it’s still in 2D)
And there was that one glitch where you can transfer some 2D items to 3D World (and the other way around) like the Goomba Shoe, Dry Bones Shell, and Koopa Clown Car.
The only reasons I could think of is that they didn’t have 3D models for those items so they just cut them. And don’t say that "ThEy WeReNt In 3d WoRlD" was boom boom in SMB1 and SMW? No but they kept him in anyway.
Right now in my head I was thinking “what if there was a super Mario maker, 3, D? I searched it and found this. This is exactly something I would love!

Yahoo indeed! Haha, for the first few seconds I accidentaly thought I was watching SMG4 because I just watched the recent video from him 😆. Anyway ye-heah, like focusing on the 3D, like it could say the "Super Mario Maker!" thing, and then instead of 2 it says "3!" but then also ti would be like "D" because like Mario Maker 3 and then like it's 3 Dimensional, I kinda of have an idea of how you did it but am still mind blown and you should make a behind the scenes of it, well this is a nice contrast to the Rejected Updates, both amazing. I also love how in this fake trailer you can get this time hurt each other in versus, since in smm2, you could bounce on each other and pound each other to steal their keys and knock 'em back a little, but now you can actually yeah. Oh yeah and like if in Sunshine and Galaxy you put a yoshi, then well you probably just wouldn't be allowed to play as Yoshi, haha, this was awesome dude! Also off topic but today it's my Dad's birthday.

I like how all Mario Maker Concept Trailers have an existing Mario level, they place one enemy, and then they start the level lol
I think that 3d world style would suit very very well for this fantastic idea cause although is a beautiful game it's basically a platform Mario game made in 3d, so it's way more squared, made of cubes etc... that would obviously ease the creation of the levels in a game like that :)

This is genuinely what I expected Mario Maker 2 to be, which is partly why I was disappointed in it (that and that there wasn’t enough new content for me to really consider it a sequel or think it was worth the upgrade from the first game, and also not having amiibo costumes.)

Haha that'd be insane but I really am curious where the traffic came from. The spike is only between the 8-9pm EST hour, traffic has been normal so far during the 9pm hour so maybe it was a mistake that someone meant to link to some other video but linked to this one
Something I'd recommend is when you're showing the level maker for sm64 at 0:25 you can see the gray default skybox of blender and the selected outline of blender. So I'd recommend turning overlays off and setting the skybox to Bob or blurred bob or something
Magikooper skins:
Magigoombas - When jumped on, it will either turn into a mushroom or explode into four Goombas
Magipokey - Can shoot spikes that could either be on fire (damage), frozen (freezes you), toxic (drains health) or rainbow (invincibility)
Magithwomp - When it falls down, it explodes into two different thwomps going sideways
Magihammer - When the hammers land on the floor, they explode
Magimoles - Will pop out and will throw either a Bob-omb or a Magigoomba at you
Magibowser - Will either throw Bob-ombs, hammers, Bullet Bills or shoot fire at you.

I think I have a solution for the problem with complexity: a simple mode and a complex mode while building. A simple mode will use the same graph/block building as the first two maker except with vantage points being the xy axis, xz axis and yz axis. It will look more block based and have fewer options for building to reduce complexity with the possibility of it basically being 2.5D world with more stuff. The complex mode will look more like a 3D modeling site/tool which contains custom values for location, minimal/no use of graph like functions and possibly contain a limited script editor.
If that game came, everything it showed can be true. Possibly, all three Super Mario Maker games can be bundled together. If that happened, Peach, Daisy, Rosalina, the Olympic Tiara Girl and Plum can be included.
That Waluigi one is definitely needed if a new version is released

If they made a Mario Maker with 3D games, I imagine the creator view would have a grid on all solid ground, so placing items/enemies can be assigned to specific starting positions. Could also help with easier terraforming and such

The super worlds are literally new super Mario Bros U world map, just wants us to play a 2-D Mario maker game even more
Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy are all bundled together for a remastered 3-D recon. Time for all the Super Mario Galaxy games and all the Luigi's Mansion games to be bundled together.
