I have 15-30-15 Miracle Grow as well. Still a boost but not quite as much as your container has. $6.99 you cant go wrong. Nice to see that I just kinda tried something like you did with only hardly any knowledge, about as much knowledge as any semi interested person has accumulated in a lifetime. I am using my own method and it seems to be working so far. My lawn was mistreated and left to survive with just watering and lawn cuts for years, so I had to do some learning fast. Thanks Doc. I do soil testing in the early spring and late summer. Like you, I found out last summer that I was deficient in Phosphorus and Potassium. The 10-10-10 fixed my lawn in the fall, and my lawn is really coming in deep green.

Hi Doc, I'm about to seed my yard from scratch, I just removed all the bad grass and softened the soil, you think is a good idea to spray some herbicide to prevent the regrow of the weed or just seed like that. Thanks in advance 👍👍👍
Hey Doc, Love your videos. Just did the soil test with rapitest meter. I have Bermuda grass in Dallas area, which is mostly clay soil. My NPK results showed N- Nitrogen Depleted P- Phosphorus Surplus K- Potash Surplus pH - 7.5 Which product would you recommend for only fixing the Nitrogen? I'm super new to Lawn care. Thank you in advanced.

Home Depot Or Lowe’s up here in Delaware doesn’t carry 10/10/10. Maybe I’m late to the game. Checked all surrounding hardware stores that sell it. All they have is 13/13/13 is that a good substitute?
That equates to about 1.5 pounds per 1000. You can use the spray I show but only try .5 pounds per 1000. 1.5 put down real quick may actually harm your lawn and lock up some nutrients.
I have a fairly small lawn and have to manage smaller amounts of product a lot. You can take about half the recommended poundage per 1000 sq/ft and have an equivalent lb/n. So if the recommendation is 3lb/1000 then you would be ~1.5 lbs of product or 3 x .540 = 1.6lb to be exact
Doc, I sprayed on bloom booster (Phosphorus VERY low per soil test) in the evening a day and a half ago because it was "supposed" to rain EVERY night 75-90%. We got one small shower that night but no significant rain until last night. Now some grass blades are yellowing. Will it recover? Did I mess up because I didn't put my sprinklers on IMMEDIATELY after spraying the 10-52-10?
Hey Doc, I Put down pre emergent at the beginning of Feb and the 1st of March( Lesco007 )... My lawn is Bermuda but I have a lot of Tall Fescue and Rye Grass mixed in. I dont want to put Glyphosate on it and kill the lawn. What would you recommend to kill the Fescue and Rye grass and not hurt the Bemuda? I did not fertilize because I did not want to fertilize the weeds. That Rye grass has a lot of seeds at the tip.
Great advice doc. I agree, Bermuda is alpha male. Cut your grass at least two times a week. Three if you can. Go as low as you can without scalping. Don't water it. The sun, lack of water and Bermuda will kill the fescue. The rye will be hard because it's a winter grass. It will go dormant in the summer. You can kill it with glosophate in the dead of the winter when it's active and the Bermuda is sleeping. Keep cutting that grass low!
I am in the 1% - I got the soil tested from my UGA extension office - they recommend 15lbs of 10-10-10 per 1000sq. BUT I just scalped the lawn sunday and sprayed super-juice and put down Andersons PGF. Can i apply the 10-10-10 over that or wait a couple of weeks?
In other words, we need to be using a balanced fertilizer. Most available are like a 10-0-0 or 10-0-2. I "see" the best results compared to any brand fertilizer by using starter fertilizers.

10-10-10 is fine, same thing. Put down at 2.5 pounds per 1000 sq ft. It's fine with the PGF.

Is it okay to spray superjuice in the middle of a sunny day? Will the sun evaporate it?
I spray mine in the evening most times... then water in the next morning. A plant can only take in so much via foliage.

If you keep cut REALLY short... the Bermuda should win. Not much else to do at this point in the season.

A starter fertilizer may have been a better option with 18 24 18. I got a 50 lbd bag of Pesci for 20 bucks that did 15k square feet
You get less coverage with it. i.e. particles per sq ft. Better to go with lower numbers.
