The math for Nitrogen on a 13.6# bag of SuperJuice @ 14%N =1.9#N for the entire bag. At .5# per 1,000/per APP, your going to get just under 4,000 sq feet per bag --Not An Acre ! Do the math for us, on what your intentions are when using this product & just what rate of Nitrogen is going down, as you have described the way or how you suggest applying it. Fred Eitel I would cut then add super juice. To answer your question, cut as early as a day later. You want to give the grass time to take up the nutrient. Since you mulch, the nutrient is staying in the yard. Hope this help

For anyone looking for a container with a spigot, go to WalMart and look in the kitchen section. There are water dispensers in there that should do the job for a reasonable cost. They won't hold five gallons, but for a two gallon unit for around $8, this is cost efficient.

Doc, great website and videos. I have a problem with my yard. Over the past several years my grass has been gradually thinning regardless of what I do. I just had a soil analysis performed and the results were 4 ppm Nitrogen, 2 ppm Phosphorus, and 151 ppm Potassium. The extremely low Phosphorus I think helps explain my issue. Adding Nitrogen is not a problem since all the fertilizers are predominately Nitrogen rich, however I am having a problem finding anything with high Phosphorus content. My pH is also a 7.8 so I need to work on that also. Please help! What would you recommend?
Awesome, I have a massive centipede backyard that I've struggled to keep up with because I only used granular. My front is Bermuda/Zoysia. The front is slowly becoming only Bermuda because it is dominant. Anyway, I hope to use your product recommendations to keep the back looking as good as the front. I think this may have been done before PGF Complete was out. Do you use the normal bag rate for the PGF Complete and use the Super Juice as described at the rate in this video? Last weekend (10/17/20) I aerated, overseeded with TTTF and KBG and put down an application of SJ at a 7-1-2 ratio. Hey Doc, most already have the Miracle Grow sprayer including me. Consider, put 2 cups in it and spray? They disperse at 1/2 oz per gallon? It might make it easier, I didn't get any particles when I mixed SJ in the gallon container. It broke down well and was pure liquid. Just a thought.
I have a bad weed problem in my yard. Should I deal with the weeds completely before putting down the super juice? I have nutsedge I have sprayed and I put down the spray pre-emergent (both 1 week ago). I still need to kill crabgrass that is pretty thick. I have a spray for that too. You can mix liquid weed treatment in with the superjuice. Unless the weed treatment states specifically not to. Doc addresses this exact question in one of his other videos.

Seems like an excellent product. However, if you’re constantly out of stock, what good is it to somebody that can’t get it? I recommend you demand your supplier produce three or four times as much, so they don’t run out of stock, plus they can get the price down. You’ll sell more. Then if you don’t run out of stock, you can determine what your true annual demand is, figure out how much of that demand is from new customers, determine the annual growth rate, and adjust your manufacturing to that demand and growth. Tell your supplier it’s unacceptable to run out of stock. Even though it’s a good product, it’s too expensive. Add too much blue lawn dye, and you instantly turn your Bermuda into Kentucky Bluegrass! 👍🏼 😂🤣😂🤣 Great tips on hose-end sprayers.

Question: I was planning on adding weed control concentrate to the super juice mixture...being that my yard is overwhelmed with WEEDS...should I mow first, bag clippings then spray the combined solution OR should I spray weed control on the unmowed lawn, then spray super juice the next day?

Hey Doc - looking forward to trying your formulation. Can you clarify how much N is actually being put down at the 14-2-4 ratio? It's obviously not .14 of N per lb (as we're used to calculating for granular) cause that won't give you 1 acre/bag as you mentioned (or 2ac @ 7-1-2). But if I work it backwards for the coverage you state then the N per 1000 is really negligible and my slow-release granular is pretty much required for deep feedings, and the SuperJuice is the on-demand 'espresso shot' for instant results. Am I on the right path understanding this?? I like the results I see as well as the concept of the product but my brain cells conked out halfway through the math.
We'll be doing a video on this in a couple of weeks. This is the thought I want you to think about until then. If you put down 1 pound of N in a slow release fert on Monday... how much N will your lawn get over the next 7 days? Let's say you don' get any rain during that period. Any? The "pounds" thought of mind really is kind of confusing. You'll understand when you see the video.

You might get a VERY light hint of blue on sidewalks that lasts for a few days, but you REALLY have to look for it. Eventually you get good at not spraying anything but grass.

Yes, apply in the 7-1-2 for new sod and maybe a LITTLE 10-10-10 and that's it. New sod likes to be left alone pretty much.

Tape the bag closed when done, covered that in a video. Super Juice is a SUPPLEMENT... don't forget. If your lawn is WEAK make sure you fix your soil.

When you say temperature... what temperatures should the soil be? I am in the North (Canada actually - parallel to Maine).

Question: I was planning on adding weed control concentrate to the super juice mixture...being that my yard is overwhelmed with WEEDS...should I mow first, bag clippings then spray the combined solution OR should I spray weed control on the unmowed lawn, then spray super juice the next day?
Weed killer needs to stay on the leaves of the weeds for at least 3-5 days. That's what I would do first. Then the rest.
I went on Amazon to purchase some Super Juice, but they don't ship to California. Is there another product you recommend for those in Zone 8 in California?
Hey Doc - looking forward to trying your formulation. Can you clarify how much N is actually being put down at the 14-2-4 ratio? It's obviously not .14 of N per lb (as we're used to calculating for granular) cause that won't give you 1 acre/bag as you mentioned (or 2ac @ 7-1-2). But if I work it backwards for the coverage you state then the N per 1000 is really negligible and my slow-release granular is pretty much required for deep feedings, and the SuperJuice is the on-demand 'espresso shot' for instant results. Am I on the right path understanding this?? I like the results I see as well as the concept of the product but my brain cells conked out halfway through the math.

We'll be doing a video on this in a couple of weeks. This is the thought I want you to think about until then. If you put down 1 pound of N in a slow release fert on Monday... how much N will your lawn get over the next 7 days? Let's say you don' get any rain during that period. Any? The "pounds" thought of mind really is kind of confusing. You'll understand when you see the video.

You might get a VERY light hint of blue on sidewalks that lasts for a few days, but you REALLY have to look for it. Eventually you get good at not spraying anything but grass.
