This is a video to fix the overbite(also effective for overjet) which is in many cases a misalignment of the maxilla and the mandible bone.
When it comes to the Overbite / Underbite / Overjet, only acquired imbalances can be fixed. So the exercises will not have as great an effect on structural imbalances that one had from his or her birth/childhood on. Nevertheless, even those cases, these exercises will help the imbalance from getting worse, for a muscle imbalances have the tendency to lean to that tilted direction further and further, whether born-with or acquired.
Be steady and daily, no need to rush. Steadiness will do the job for you :)

Precautions about corrective exercises :
※Please be careful always not to overdo any exercise.
You should only move to the extent you feel comfortable and be slow and soft.
If any pain or discomfort is felt then you have two options : 1. Decrease the intensity / range of motion to the point you feel refreshed and comfortable. 2. Rest for a few days and you may start again.

@@nusrattanjila3184 I've been really lazy tbh. I would do it once every other day so I can't see any difference. However, keeping my mouth closed has become easier for me since I'm trying my best to stop mouth breathing.

Thanks that's really motivating! Was your bite problem severe beforehand? I've been told mine is moderate, as it gives me a lisp and my upper teeth leave an indentation on the inside of my lower lip😭🥺😭😭😭

@@meghamohandas1849 it just adjusts your jaw so I would say both because it affects your appearance and bite as well but technically speaking face since it’s the jaw that gets aligned
Thank you, it definitely works, you need to mindfully line your teeth/ jaw lined up as well, and this makes it a lot easier.
Your methods corrected my whole body posture in a matter of few months. I have surprisingly lost weight over my face, my respiratory issues have been resolved and I look prettier than ever before. Hi I just wanna say thank you for this video! I am doing as well some of your facial exercise vids and it really worked fixing my asymetrical face!! I often use filters and mirrored camera because my face/eyes and smile are uneven. Now i can take selfie normally without having too much insecurities!!! Been doing it for less than a week, I’ve seen pretty good improvements, even if I’ve been doing it only once a day, but I’ve never missed one day. It definetly does work, hopefully you start doing it as well, consistency is key.

Are there any controindications to do these exercises with open bite? I do myofunctional therapy too

So it's been a week now i've been doing these excercices 2-3 Times a day, i haven't yet noticed any changes, it does make mewing easier and more natural but other than that nothing really, but i'll keep doing it for a month and i'll see if it works

Hi friends! I did some testing and it turns out t that be exercise that is the most effective is the one where you look up at push your jaw forward, I recommend doing this as much as you like but be careful to not cause underbite

I’ve always been so insecure of my large overbite, my top set of teeth are around 1.5 cm in front of my bottom teeth and it’s been hard in highschool since i’ve pretty much been bullied from a young age. I used to suck my thumb which was so addicting, but luckily I tried methods to stop this habit and it worked. I’ve been to the dentist and we talked about getting a special set of braces but after that nothing really came to fruition so I came to youtube and tried looking at some methods and this one is quite affective!
How does this work exactly? Like are my teeth supposed to be touching eachother when i close it? And when i chew food my teeth still have to be touching eachother even tho i feel like there is a space on my back teeth?
@@iamdissapointed6810 You have to use this method repeatedly, maybe around 2-3 times a day for it to be most effective on your teeth. It will not completely cure your jaw problems, but it does make the position a lot better.

what these exercises clearly do is activating molars muscles. You should also consider chewing gum; food with you molars and try to do mewing. So this helps to place your lower jaw to your front teeth, so outside you look less like a guy with overbite.However, i am not sure if it actually fixes overbite, it may in some people in some not, so if you want to fix it straight away do the surgery. If not then try mewing and these exercises and see how it goes but the probability that it will work isn't high.

I have been doing it since seen only a bit improvement or maybe a illusion, when i consulted to a dentist he said i have deep and overjet so i really need braces.
I will recommend you guys to at least consult to a dentist and he/she can give you the best advice.
@@kuldeepm_ It's good doing exercises makes you feel better, but the dentist can measure, that way you will know if the exercises working, it is important to be consistent and practice such things on a regular basis. I also have been using the Bates Methods, by eye sight improved and my glasses went down a grade in strength but I did them everyday, it was not the case of just doing one technique then my vision was corrected immediately. It is useful to know about this. Maybe these type of exercises could be developed into a program or app so people could make a regime for exercises and the effectiveness of them could be studies more, creating personalized programs. :-).

I've been having some issues with my lower jaw, its stiff. I can still talk and eat no problem but it feel weird when I open my mouth. My right side of jaw is slightly swollen as well as the gums on that side. Ugh I don't know what's wrong

Greetings it's a great pleasure to have a conversation with you sir. I am going to begin these exercises straight from tomorrow and after reading the experiences and results in the comments. I think it's possible even if the doctors said it's not. I just wanted to know that whether it is effective for overbite along with gaps also. It's stupid to ask such a question because the results will possibly be out by the end of the month or a week but if it really works I won't be less grateful without a real smile , my life is like a puppet, getting affected by what will people think when I ll smile and how will they react as I open my mouth to speak everything makes me feel down. I never knew that exercises were also a way to get rid of a problem. It’s not only for look improved but also health improvement. Since when you overbite your jaw bone block your breathing making less oxygen you will received results in you tired and sleepy all the time.

Are you a side sleeper? Whichever side you sleep on most will cause volume loss over time. I noticed this in mine as well and now sleep on my back 🙂

@Aditya Tejus I don’t think your braces failed I think u just didn’t wear ur retainer
One of the main points, why braces are put up on your teeth, is to correct and align them properly, so there is no need for you to do this...
Also, I am wearing my retainer every day ever since my orthodontist got rid of my braces. My overbite is fixed however it slowly came back after a few months of no braces but I am still using my retainer... And yeah, I am afraid that maybe my orthodontist will get mad with the after results

9 feb-15 feb: twice a day done. Dry heaving still there, esp in 2nd exercise but found that tucking tongue under lower jaw and taking a deep breath through nose before starting helps to reduce it. Results? Not much difference. Starting 2nd week trial now
16 feb: donex2 i have sensitive teeth so try not to bite too hard when using the correct form if not it hurts like crazy
17 feb: donex2 today was good! Little to no dry heaving and felt like i could stretch out a little longer today 😊
