Our names are Jmayel, Sacha & Story. We traveled to the Philippines Siargao island and fell in love with island life, now we want to make that life more permanent.

Watching Story enjoying the ocean makes me realise that a 5 year old kid has much better skill in swimming than someone like me who doesn’t have the opportunity to overcome my phobia of water after a childhood accident being in the water. She’s really good in swimming and I never saw her not even once being scared to be in the water either it’s ocean or swimming pool. I’m enjoying your every adventure story. @@picklingonions3982 I've been noticing that actually since the whole family moved here in the Philippines unintentionally. Pak Yeoh has been nit-picking them especially Jay, the seatbelt, the eggs he/she's been seeing in the fridge, and so many more things. Hahaha.

My first snorkeling was in 2018 in El Nido,Palawan,that was like in heaven,for 2 weeks here in Canada,I can’t get over my experience and every night ,I kept dreaming of snorkeling in Palawan.i hope,I will have the chance to have that kind of experience.

How amazing Bohol is! Very very lovely place! We’ve been there last June and also stayed in BBC, place was magnificent! People are awsome, food are nice not too crowded and very peaceful. Hope you guys stay here in PH permanently, and I hope someday you would granted Filipino Citizenship! It’s nice seeing you guys appreciate how wonderful PH is! Keep em comin and take care!

Balicasag island is one of my most unforgettable snorkeling site I have been too. We were there 2009. And experience the same you did..there were scuba divers beneath us . Amazing!

Great job Story. I remember the last time I went to Balicasag I saw a sea turle in the shallow water. I hope uou guys will try the Shark watching in Lila, Bohol. I'm sure Story will love it.

OMG YEP, we did that last year, it was INSANE!!!! best experience of my life and ive been to maldives, phi phi, the day we snorkled Balicasag there was a strong current so me, wife and kids all locked arms and just drifted the whole way over the reef flying over turtles and huge fish, got goosebumps just writing this.
There is so much the Philippines can offer you guys. Try Dumaguete next time if you still have time before your trip back to UK. Apo reef is highly recommended.

I agree! Diving with Finn is on another (deeper) level even Kulas can’t reach. But that world that Finn lives in is National Geographic amazing!!
Finn doesn’t teach diving but his friend Chris is a certified instructor. Once Jay is good to go, he can join Finn and company esp. in his new yacht

Pro tip for future free diving/scuba diving adventures, invest in red filters for better colourisation and hand/wrist strap so you don't need to worry about dropping your underwater camera.

There's a palce there in Bohol where you can see whale sharks if I'm not wrong its in LiLa just a few Kilometers drive off Panglao its not that touristy unlike in Oslob in Cebu

I am currently at the airport for my trip after more than 2 years when I watched this vlog and listening to Sacha's story of how the experience made her emotional for having experience such amazing experience, it hit me too and got emotional. This is it.indeed. Being able to enjoy the world and learning while experiencing the world is indeed such a blessing. If what good thing this pandemic brought to me - that is having known you in the UA-cam world. It seems Ive seen how you live such an inspiring life since 2020. Bless you more Jay, Sacha and Story❤
I was moved just watching this video and listening to your narration of the whole experience. It certainly is an awesome experience to come up close to a "wild" animal in their natural habitat. And this habitat of theirs is so gorgeous. I would not be surprised at all if Story grows up to be a big-time nature lover. She already is one. I will try and visit Balicasag island the next time I am back in the Philippines.

I love the fact that Poppy gets to enjoy travelling and the activities you guys do. She's a good adventure doggo. ❤ And I was thinking how magical Story's life has been thus far. Turly wish my kids could also have the same quality of life. Being in Canada, we don't have places like this too. But one day soon, hopefully we can all come home and my kids can see where I came from. Last time I was home, I got to dive the amazing Apo Island and also got the privilege to swim with turtles in their natural habitat. I totally get it Sascha. I totally get it. Oh and maybe next time, Pops can have a doggo life vest so she can also swim??? For a little while anyways.
Poppy is so confident of you guys bringing him to some nice place, no s/s of anxiety, he's just enjoying that you guys brought him with you and the company. I always feel that every time I bring my dog too on our trips she looks so excited looking at where we are going and Story is having the time of her life, she will always remember these moments for the rest of her life and will make her smile.

Some people live their lives exploring seas and beaches. Some people never seen a sea because their country is landlocked. Some people make their living in the sea. Life is an adventure wherever one is you only need follow destiny.
I truly can relate what Sasha felt during those moments spent in Balicasag. Went there with the whole family snorkeling about 10 years back. It gave me chills and felt amaze on how beautiful underwater can be. The beautiful experience is somehow embedded in my memory.
You should add APO REEF in your go-to list. It is the world's second largest contiguous coral reef system, located at Occidental Mindoro. You can also drop by Pandan Island for more sea turtle viewing.
Apo Reef is a protected marine sanctuary area and tourists are not encouraged to go there for it may destroy the underwater ecosystem.
@@eli.capinbxu it is now open for tourists again. The only reason they stopped operation was due to the pandemic. Been there numerous of times in the past, my mother is from Occidental Mindoro.
