I love your enthusiasm for Greek mythology, it validates me. I wrote a whole novel about Daphne and Apollo, but I am not as brave as you and I'll probably never muster the courage to publish it. Thanks for sharing your art, I'm working on my Framed September video right now.
I love mythology retellings, it's such a booming genre at the moment, get your version out there, now is the time (especially for feminist retellings). I'd love to read what you have come up with.
The only Australian artist I know (or rather, know of) is Ian Milliss. I wonder what he has written or spoken about Norman Lindsay, who seems to have been a cultural figure of his time. I’m sorry to hear of his anti-semitism though. He was about 10 years behind Banjo Paterson, near contemporaries - so I wonder what his bone of contention was.
Anti-Semitism was so much the norm in that period, wasn't it: Eliot, Pound, Cummins were all prone to it. Henry Ford was madly anti-Semitic, & wasted millions in propaganda & agitation, but he was also a fellow traveller with American fascism. He would have loved Trump.
I had to look up Norman Lindsey, but I’m glad I did! The poem was wonderful ❤
He's odd, but interesting, a diminished star. Thanks for the encouragement & generous support. I love our bookish connection.
I enjoyed hearing you perform your work and appreciate the context you gave us as well.
Thank you for participating in Framed! in September 😊
I had a blast with this , & I've really enjoyed discovering other channels also, so much fun. Thank you for creating such a brilliant project.

Thanks for always being so affirmative & encouraging. I really enjoy our bookish connection.
Wow - some powerful ekphrastic work there - I love your energetic reading
Thanks very much. Really appreciate you stopping by. This BookTube is a wonderful lark.
Great to see you in your element! 🤩👏
Thanks, yes I had a blast doing this one. 'Framed in September' is such a great read-a-thon.
Oh yeah...
Thanks, Mark. I'm not sure I'm really on song with this one. I was tempted to re-video it, but anyway... we'll see what happens, I guess.
You are always so affirmative, Mark. I really appreciate that - thank you!
@@apoetreadstowrite Lol. You are more than welcome.
@@book-ramble: You are wonderful. Thank you.

I don't know Ian Milliss at all, will look him up, don't know why I haven't come across him. Thanks for stopping by.
@@apoetreadstowrite I thought of him because I think he has a Blue Mountains connection.
@@davidnovakreadspoetry: I can’t believe I haven’t come across him, but I have become very out of touch as I hide away with Billy.
@@davidnovakreadspoetry: The Blue Mountains are a special place to live, and a real haven for artists.
