Peter's doctor reminds me of a classic who doctor brought into the modern format. If you've ever wondered what a Pertwee or a Baker might be in a single hour episode this gives you a really good feel for it. I know it's different for some people but I've really enjoyed his doctor.
To me that's exactly what he is, and it's also what I really needed to see after Matt Smith. Smith occasionally had some good moments, but I think he deviated from the formula a bit too much at times as well, at least for my own tastes. Peter Capaldi represents a great balance. He's a return to the old form in many ways, while still having his guitar and enough other new little touches that it makes his incarnation unique and interesting, without going too far away from who the Doctor fundamentally is.
Gina DiGregorio I'm currently hoping for more than three seasons like we had with Tennant and Smith (who were great). I would be ok also with the lead writer changing: Moffat was good and gave us some great stories, but I enjoy the constant change of the show and I would love to see what another writer would do with the Twelfth doctor.

Yes he doesnt just defeat the alien and move on but we at the moment are only seeing like 1 dalek episode per series. Id like a few episodes that have a little dalek in them or maybe a 2parter!
