FPV Drones are flying vibrators. Period! To make them fly good, flight controller software has to filter the gyro noise. But from where noise comes from? What’s vibrating? Sure, motors. But only motors or is it something else as well. Let’s answer those questions!
Notice: this is re-edited version of a video from 2017. It might be old, but still has a lot of valuable information! Quite unique too. Comparing to the original, it was shortened by a few minutes to remove some boring and not really important parts.

Do you believe loose items create relevant noise - i.e. noise that has an undesirable effect on the signal?
e.g. a receiver or a buzzer that is not fixed to the frame but just dangles around on it's power/signal wires and antenna so it can bounce on the frame or even the FC

now that there isnt a debug mode = 'gyro', which mode should we use for this? The closest is either the acc or dyn_gyro_lpf.
In Blackbox tab you can select "gyroRaw" option and it will just save gyro raw as new set of data

This is not a masterclass, this is a very basic overview of gyro noise. I kinda laughed when I saw “masterclass” in the title and saw it was only 11minutes… The title is completely misleading because there is absolutely no tuning of the filters in your video at all. Do you really think this was a “Drone filter tuning masterclass”?

Masterclass is the title of the playlist. There's multiple videos coming out over the next days I presume.
@@aaronkaulbarsch9623 a master class would involve spectral power density graph reading. Frequency Vs time and harmonics analysis. Mitigating delay induced noise and not adding more filtration thinking phase delay or d term feedback noise. 🤣🤣
