What a weird coincidence. Just 15 minutes ago I watched some videos about the Saleen S7 (and the GT1 version) from your channel and others... and then this pops up in my sub boxes😍
What a glorious video! That reminds me of the many times i've been to Le Mans: laying awake at night in the tent, listening to that sweet music and happily falling asleep. Thank you!
I´d prefer these collection of cars to any other modern race. This is how I started in SimRacing (GTR, GTR2). I love these cars more than I probably should. The Saleen, the Panoz, the Tuscan, the Marcos, THE VIPER! Man... As always...dude...Bozzy...thanks for that awesome content. You are entertaining me for years now! Never stop doing this please.
Love all these cars. Used to watch these with my dad when I was in my teens, was amazing and I'd love to see these cars again. Today's cars don't have the same awe about them, especially since their all so quiet now!
Ah, the Saleen. Such a beautiful car. I always wonder how fast these legends were compared to today's touring cars and how things have advanced exactly, from a technological standpoint. Kind if of difficult with all the differences in tyre compound, track layout, race length etc. ...
Excellent video Bozzy! This was like DejaVu...many of these were prominent during the late 90s and early 2000s. We used to have limited auto-racing coverage in India. I remember one of the sports programs called "Max-Power" wherein the GT races especially in Silverstone circuit were telecasted and these exact bunch of vehicles raced in full glory! The usual winners in the GT1 class were the Listen Storm or Mclaren F1 GT Long tail. The Marcos LM600 was another beast but always retired due to technical problems. There was another mean sounding machine called Mosler M900. Phewww!! Anyway, so good to see these beauties still run so effectively.
@Bozzy , mate great stuff as usual, pity I won't be able to make the Le Mans Classic this year, which strangely has not been cancelled, but I have to travel from Australia. this is great though. CAN ANYONE TELL ME what is the lovely red NART car, obviously a Ferrari, but what type please

Hey I have a Question: How do you know when and where are like test days or just days like this video, where they just drive with old cars on track. I would love to see some of these cars in real life so it would be nice to know when and where they drive. So is there a Calendar or sth?
I have a few questions...#1 are these cars being driven around by a bunch of rich guys or are the practicing for an actual race?; #2 where can they find parts if something fails or one of them gets into a wreck?; #3 are they categorize by the time period they raced in?; #4 where are the IMSA GTP cars of the 80's and early 90's?
Lately reply but I'll help 1) not at all, some of them, or most of them were driven by professional racing driver. Some rich guys did drove, but if they are capable. 2) usually, there is a third party spare part & constructor to support the parts, or if they are unable to get the exactly same part, they just customize it to fit, which one is easier to do. 3) depends on the event, sometimes yes, sometimes no. 4) there are some IMSA race cars participating this kind of event in Europe, but most surviving IMSA race cars were resides in USA, become museum pieces or in worst scenario, dismantled. If you look at youtube, try search Daytona Classics & you'll find a lot of IMSA GTP, GTO, GTU cars there.
See's Panoz esperente gt1,

yEah ... "OLD SCHOOL" Remember the GTR Game of SimBin - when i see the cars
GTR2 was the best sim until Rfactor came out. I wish Simbin would make another dedicated title instead of pursuing the free-to-play model.
@@flyingphoenix113 but rFactor came out before GTR2 ;)
This is what needs to return in the racing world. This is absolutely amazing ❤️
Golden era of racing😢❤

Thanks for the Video :)
Sensory Overload! This is way too much!
Is there a way to meet you at such events ?
They should bring a FIA reglementation that allows to drive LA Ferraris., McLaren p1 and etc...
Omg dude, can you imagine the GT1 version of the LaFerrari, P1, 918, Aventador, Huayra, etc. racing head-to-head? 😱🤤
That poor 964 can't compete with the rest of the field.
At least it's being driven like it's supposed to be.
love you bozzy!!! keep it up!!

Idk about European tracks, but where I'm at each track's website has a calendar. Just look for track day stuff.
Yo it's Jimmy Ricard!
Wants Saleen S7, would settle for Porsche GT3.
