What is amazing is that these same coffins on wheels were driven pedal to the metal when they were being seriously raced. These historic meetings are a nice reminder of what WAS, but in no way surrenders the true speeds at which these cars were driven originally. How wonderful that the owners of these rare, expensive, awesome machines race them at track days like this. Amazing that the world gets to experience them, and they are not just gathering dust in a museum.
Nice to see the Pinepac Mustang at 19:00, a bit of New Zealand's touring car history. Sure the Anderson Brothers would be happy to know it is running well in Europe.

What amazed me is why the grandstands weren't packed ! If this was on in Australia it would be jammed packed with people. Thanks for not saying a thing or playing any daft music. That was pure music in itself. Lovely just lovely !!!
Hi Bozzy.🖐 What an awesome way to kick off my day! The value of this Monza Historic footage is immeasurable. As much as I enjoy the wide open throttle flybys and powerslides through the curves, it is the detailed close-ups inside the garage that I love the most.😍 It gives us the chance to slow down, think about, and appreciate the drivers, mechanics, and all the highly engineered parts coming together to make these cars perform so magically. Thanks again to you and your mate for putting out these quality works of automotive greatness for all to enjoy.🙏 I'll be back later to watch this one again on the big screen. Have a fantastic weekend, my friend!
Hi Mick! hahah I know you always love those videos and close-ups in the garage. I don't want to say false promises but since I really have a lot of unused warm-up material etc, maybe one day I could put together a big compilation ;) I'm pretty sure the result will be amazing! Thank you as usual for taking your time to comment and watch these very long video my friend. Have a great weekend too!
For a non fan of modern BMWs I absolutely love the bat mobiles. Saw them at Zandvort back in the day vs the Jaguar XJCs and the Capri RSs. Marvelous days. This event looked awesome. Wish I was there.
Yup. At least BMW engineers made sure to let enthusiasts know when the cars were no longer going to be special, the end of an era. That was when they went crazy and introduced a V8 for the M3 like never before, and V10 for the M5 like never before. Doing that was the celebration of proper cars, because literally every BMW after that generation is cost-cutting junk. They literally put the same inline 6 engine into everything from entry level to the flagship models. No effort, nothing special, just cost cutting for larger profit margins.
Having driven the f80 m4 and e30 m3 respectively i can say you can still have some fun with the newer m cars, although it is sad how they only use the same engine with different states of tune for different m cars nowadays
Thank you so much for the kind comment my friend. I'm very satisfied of this video too but the credit for this belongs to the amazing line up of cars ;)
Starting at 2.55 the TURBO set-up of these Group C cars is just amazing and so well thought ,so low on the chassis /with the direct connection with heat/ exchanger/inter-cooler is really ingenious.
Grazie bozzy! This is easily THE best video you have ever done! You've managed to get every shot of the cars on track to a dime! The shots of the XJR9 and, especially the Vantage GTE which brings back so many memories of THE first WEC race I went too, just made me grin from ear to ear! :D cannot wait for the full XJR9 video and hope you had a fantastic time!! :D
@@isaaclyonsf1 thanks man, the XJR9 got me into sportscars after playing it on GT6 and then since I got into the WEC, the Aston was my favourite GTE car and seeing it at Silverstone 2018 and goodwood for a few years just cemented my love for it
Thanks a lot as usual for the kind comment my friend! Believe me, I enjoyed more Monza Historic than the 2019 FoS... yes, I know this is an absurd statement XD Hope to upload the video of the XJR as soon as possible ;)
Man, with words I will never be able to thank you for your absolutely impressive work, image quality, sounds, camera movements, accept a heartfelt hug from a Brazilian friend :)
Finally have time to watch this! Wasn't going to do it until I could enjoy with my good headphones...lol. What a legendary line up of cars, so jealous Bozzy! Thanks as always for putting in the time and effort to share with us less fortunate people...lol.
Thanks Bozzy, once again you were at the right place, at the right moment, with the right tools, and mostly with the right talent. Great video, excellent in autumn, pierre

Bravo, what a fantastic video! So much for the eyes and the ears. Great to hear the sounds of my teenage years, the rumbling Sauber Mercedes vs the screaming, raucous Silk Cut Jaguar V12. Brilliant work once again 😎.
Wonderful video. So great that you included a list of the cars. Back in the 70s I went to Riverside for the 6-hr race and to LGBP for F1. I found that Fridays and Saturdays were always more interesting to me than raceday. Thanks.
