Why can't they just make a harry Potter game like rockstars 'bully'?! It's like a 5-10 minutes scene, here it lasts like 2 seconds xD
I really do hope they re-make the series, starting from the start till the end. It would be so good to see new Harry Potter games with updated models and graphics, more modernised. Also, if that does happen, hopefully they actually stick to the storyline and not make some random made up part like how Hermionie is with Harry in the tournament games in Year 4 in the lego game, and how there's a ghoul trapped in a room with Neville in the third game for console.
In Lego games they have to have at least two playable characters. So my idea is they could have done something like the Anakin vs Obi Wan thing in the Complete Saga.

With these graphics and the changes made to establish a better connection between the first two movies (child friendly and light hearted) to the next six movies (darker and maturer), we could've gotten a really good remake of the Harry Potter video game series.

Dumbledore nr.1 looked a lot calmer and happier. This contributed to the more innocent tone of the first film , and provided a nice contrast in the second film when things got a bit more intense. The look of the Dumbledore in this game was designed for the third film and onwards. They have placed both him and the younger Flitwick in the setting of the first film. Presumably this was done to make the first two years fit with the other years. But the art style got more and more bruiting from the third film on to enhance the depressing effects of the dementors , people dying and the physical return of a more powerful Voldemort and his death eaters. Putting that art style together with the more upbeat first year just kills the mood in my opinion. The lighting scheme in the first film was a lot warmer as well, this game looks as if its there are demetors every where.It's just so unnecessarily cold and depressed. If you want a game that captures the feel of early potter I suggest you play the first two EA games that came out around the same time as the first movies, mind you they draw a lot more from the books than the movies , the plot differs hugely in some places and the art style was based on the trading cards. But they feel more akin to the movies than this. Plus in those you can explore Hogwarts outside of the story if you want .
Tom Bruggeman i played the first hp on ps1 and the graphics make it so much better than what the game would be with better graphs, hagrid looks hilarious and i agree + what i would have loved is to not rush the movies so much to get some more details, the last movies seemed to be all around action and like zero "softer" moment that would have really captured the magical world of HP

What a shitty game.........This is what EA reduced HP to. The Harry Potter games used to be a shining example of great tie-in games made with passion and effort, particularly the first 3 (PS1, PS2 and PC). After the 4th, it was clear that EA just wanted quick cash, despite the 5th and 6th games were good (albeit with much less features than the first 3). Knowing that this lazy pile of filth is the last Harry Potter game made is very disheartening. I wish one day someone (preferably Rocksteady), would go and make a huge open world Harry Potter game, mixing the best parts of the first 3 on PS2 and the 5th and 6th games, and taking some tips from GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption.

The original Potter games look brilliant, except for the fact that they have outdated graphics. It's time to remake the best games of the noughties in an updated manner. +Andy Rays maybe no one funded it, since it was under development when the movie series was about to end and released a year after the craze ended

Metalleon 24 Yes, absolutely! EA should make an updated one, they did well on Star Wars Battlefront, and that Battlefield 1 thing. The original Potter games look brilliant, except for the fact that they have outdated graphics. It's time to remake the best games of the noughties in an updated manner. And it would be in their monetary interests, they'd probably sell millions. It would be absolutely fantastic. (And available on PC)
