In theory: If I wanted to create a continent sized terrain would it be possible to do with World Creator as a heightmap tool? As in: How big can the landmasses get?
It depends on what kind of scale you are talking about. do you want to make a single continent that is 15.000x10.000 kilometers in one go? That probably wouldnt work out. You would have to scale it down, or better yet chop it up into multiple smaller and actually workable peaces. Think of it like Minecraft does it, use chunks, chunkify the whole continent. That would absolutely be possible. But in one ginormous object? Probably not^^ You could try to scale it down and make it look like being a whole continent while being way smaller. Like a 1:10.000 or something would work.
