I just want to know how I can increase the size of terrain, there is no option to increase terrain size in world creator 3 but this option is available in world creator 2 ?
When i export the colour map, it exports the textures completely tiled. I.e. even though i have the detiling and triplanar options selected in WC, when exporting the colormap this detiling is removed and consequently my colormap looks dreadful in blender compared to how it looks in WC. Any idea how to get the exported colormap to export as the actual detiled textures it shows inside WC?
Amar Selimovic I’m having the same problem with low quality colormaps, it’s couse you need to use the heat maps instead or so I’m told by the world creator discord, it’s because the color map is exactly what it says it is, a color map, not a texture map, you export the heat maps and combine them with some hq photoscanned textures, this tutorial and and the one previous are telling you the wrong way, you don’t export as an obj, you just export the height map as an image texture and use blenders micro displacement feature, but for the textures I’m currently trying to figure the heat maps out there’s just a lack of info out there on how to do it I’ve spent ages struggling how to do it
@@gridgraphics9047 No what I mean is that we get the colors all done in World Creator, save it and import all colors we spent time on into Unreal so we can move on to other things without recoloring it. So how do we do this in World Creator save it and export over into Unreal. There are so many videos out there but none truly showing this.
@@Lync1111 @Lync1111 first you have to export the texture (color) you made in world creator as the video above shows, than you have to find out how to import images/textures into unreal engine; ua-cam.com/video/kbzIloH4nb8/v-deo.html as shown in the linked video. So instead of using a texturemap/pbr material use the image of the mountain colors you got from world creator.
Great tutorial! Something that I have noticed and I also noticed this on your video here is that the Displacement Map seems to be pure white. I have noticed it is like this for all of the textures. I manually selected the correct Displacement Map in the tests I have done. I am puzzled as to why these did not load-in correctly from the start or is there a reason why this would happen by default? Thx!
Hey Martin! Love these tutorials. A quick question: When I attempt to plug in my color map into the base color socket, my scene is not colored the same as my World Creator render. Any idea how that's happening, or what I can do to fix it?
@@MartinKlekner thank you so much for the link. havent watched the video yet since its an hour long, but just would like to ask you, can we use megascan library textyres or procedural landscape textures to texture a landscape exactly like in your video but in unreal engine?
Exactly. I'm currently trying to decide which one to buy of these two. From what I've seen so far, I get the impression that World Creator has a snappier update of changes; many things seems to happen more or less in realtime. The realism and gorgeousness appear to be equal between the two.
This is one of the best texture tutorial for world creator I've seem ! Thanks

Would love to see an extra WC tutorial where you use the flow maps to texture it into Blender
Hey Martin, can you make a tutorial about adding objects with World creator, like bushes, trees etc?
Keep up the great work!
I would love to see this with him using Speed Tree.
thanks man for your sharing
Thank you martin
There is no "Flow enabled" option for me 3:12 :(
Same. Using version 2.4.0
@@spacepirate9882 Same here. Did you solve it?
same here
click "cavity" and then "concave", same effect it seems like
You're using the Educational/Standard version probably? I think only the Professional version has that option.

Can someone please tell me how to make background dark ?
Great Videos man!
Thank you Cihan! :)
i have no button to download textures, weird.
May me it would be better to explain how to export a splatmap and how to use it in blender to distribute costum textures.
Awesome tutorial. But I notice that most world modelers always make big worlds. How do you make a swampy area. Like you see in Hunt showdown.
which version are you using ?
Hi, is world creator optimized for mobile ?
Is there any way to import an obj/fbx file into World Creator as a terrain?
The Opcion "FLOW" no this or i cant see
Hello Martin - I am wanting to learn how to do this in UnReal 4 Are there any videos that you may have that teaches this, Thanks.
What do you mean? Generate and texture landscapes in unreal, without world generator?
