I love it... how people assume by getting a second little smart speaker it will give one a true stereo sound 😁 I've had several soundbars and a surround sound package but it was only when I purchased an budget AVR and a pair of budget stereo speakers that I realised what I had been missing (stereo imaging, thumping base) besides going down this route one can always add to it overtime! subwoofer, surround speakers you could even get height speakers to get the full 'non-virtual' Dolby Atmos experience. Nowadays AVRs are so simple to setup, they even walk you through the process! "Remember movies are made up of 50% visuals and 50% audio and there are occasions when the audio out does the visuals"
I adore film, but audio is very important. Some great films don’t require it so much, but most films rely on good audio and good audio delivery. I’ve seen films on the big screen without special audio, but there’s something missing. You can’t tell so much if you don’t know or don’t compare it to what you’re missing. Nowadays surround is done quite well digitally, so at the very least one should choose a proper soundbar - not all are made the same. Usually, you get what you pay for. The thing is that when you go high enough in price, unless space is an issue, you can easily get a good stereo setup. You can then go to surround, though this is not strictly necessary or desirable. Stereo sound is really great and good speakers will provide quite the experience: the action is happening in front of you and the sound is coming from there. Some prefer that. Many others though like to be immersed in the action, and proper surround is way better than digital. Again, 5.1 is more than enough, though one can go further if one wishes. Whatever you do though, for the sake of all things audio, do not add another small speaker and pair them together thinking you get stereo sound: most simply play the same stuff at the same time which is not true stereo. Check your speaker capabilities before purchasing! Heed the OP’s advice!
So I have the apple tv 4k, I bought the ultra high speed HDMI cable for it. I have a nano85, soundbar & a Xbox series x. I can't find anyone that can help me with the configuration for all the HDMI/ ports for best picture quality & Dolby.
How does the all the tech connect to the sound bar? multiple hdmis or via bluetooth? You may need to look into a Home Theater Receiver, connect everything to that, and then connect the tv to the Receiver.
Why does no one offer help with SUBTITLES? I was talked into upgrading my Apple TV 3rd gen to this 4K version. Before subtitles were simple, NOW NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE, guess is Apples screw you to anyone with disability. I spend hours trying to get subtitles, if successful next time itv turned on, again no subtitles. Often Samsung or Apple TV say they are on, BUT STILL NO SUBTITLES. I HATE NEW APPLE PRODUCTS.
@@BenjiRoper14 lol even if I change my location say to the US it still wouldn’t be available. Which really sucks plus the fitness app isn’t available either🤦🏾♂️🤷🏽♂️🙇🏽💔💔💔
I bought an Apple TV 4K but returned it as I missed the radio app that was a permanent app on the 3rd version. We listen to that every day. I searched all over but could not find that app. Wish that they had not done that.
Ah, if you liked the dedicated yep then yea it's gone. All the Stations are still there though in the Music App. If you use the search, type in the station, and scroll down to the "Stations" section, hopefully you'll find what you're looking for!
Apple TV always felt to me like the same thing with ever more horsepower. Now we have this lawn mower of a streaming box now mowing grass with 4.000 horse powers showing the same bland interface and doing the same thing it always did. This is the most boring product in the history of mankind. I had 3 of those and kicked myself every time. Get a mac mini. At least that thing can be used for a number of useful things.
Have you tried the new Apple Shareplay yet? What do you think of it?
No one to share with.

Thank you! Appreciate it!
HDMI ARC/eARC is an awesome feature and game changer from Apple TV4K
That's great isn't it!
@@applelcs I use mine with a HomePod mini stereo pair but wish the OG HomePod was still available so I could get another to pair up for this feature.
@@leighinibiza They are on ebay or an apple reseller like Melrose Mac, if you want to go that route.

Do you need a special hdmi cable for the apple 4k tv? If yes, what is the name of this cable?
any HDMI 2.1 Cable that supports up to 48gbs. There's so many on amazon, but here's the name of one, Belkin UltraHD High Speed 4K HDMI Cable
Does it work with the external sound bar like JBL 2.1? Via Bluetooth or the HDMI- ARC out?
Especially the Apple TV 4K 2022?
yes it does for both.
Awesome vid man thanks
Glad you enjoyed it

I love Apple products, BUT, they make it very hard to remember how features work. I would prefer a few more buttons on their minimalist remote.
It takes some getting used to, especially since they just changed it. The previous remote had less buttons but people didn't like it very much.
Not really? Its simple enough lmao
you can use Siri for pretty much everything else.
It works with electricity 220 in South America?
I'm pretty sure if they sell it there, it will come with it's own power cord specific to that country.
I want to add pip doesn’t work with every video app..netflix, Disney, hbo etc only a select few
how do you connect the ethernet port up to your system

How do you get the track pad on your phone? I get the interface with the four arrows which is slower moving to different points in a movie.
is your phone updated to the latest? also whats your apple tv?

It’s unfortunate that Siri isn’t available in all regions . I love my Apple TV 4K but this no Siri business is a huge let down 😒😒
