Great build on the Z06, all of those upgrades are for the valvetrain that will help with the more intense pressure that big cam will put on the valve springs.
When you're doing a cam upgrade on an LS or LT it's best to include new stronger springs, better lifters(usually hydraulic), and rocker arms and push rods made with your cam specs in mind to keep everything running smooth. If you're engine is high mileage or you want to rev over 7k rpm, the stock parts will tear themselves apart and you'll be in trouble. It's all to help prevent valve float, and keep everything running strong when you go to mexico.
I'm a little surprised that the LT4 has DOD in it considering the Z06 is supposed to be the performance model. I'm an LS guy btw

500 wheel stock? That would be the lowest c7 z06 ive ever heard of or seen. Mine was 574 in 92 degree weather dead stock.
