I’m sorry. I usually read the comments before I ask a question and I guess I’m sidetracked today because I literally just started typing because I ask her pretty much the same thing. I hope she sees our requests. I’m so curious since she is so young or at least I believe she is so young and already successful in her own business. I love the backstory on business owners especially bakeries, donut shops, etc… We don’t have any bakeries anywhere near where I am in the US but I wish we did! 😊
Without watching that Q&A, i'm going to venture out and say that she has been doing this for the better part of 20+ years and in Australia, her shop looks like it's in downtown New York, so the cost of living might be a little different there as well. There are a lot of things to factor into owning a business; especially when it's food: having a love and passion is first and foremost

I love how aesthetically pleasing and organized your bakery is I live in Perth and went to Brisbane for a holiday and really wanted to try your cookies so we went on a Tuesday was silly so we came back later and the line was too long so we gave up but we found them in a cafe in Sunshine Coast and we tried them and I got NYC and they are to die for the best cookie I’ve ever had
Just a suggestion… but maybe you could get someone to install some hooks on that nice big wall where you could hang your order bags up and out of the way when you have too many?? 🌸

The bakery looks cool. I'm not a pink color guy, buuuuuuuut I like how all the other colors come together that makes the pink color a compliment to the overall decor. I like how the bakery setting is capable of capturing the imagination of the beholder. On a scale ⚖️ of 1-10, I give your bakery a 15. Off the charts😅

Just a suggestion for you next videos, you may want to run you video audio to adobe podcast (totally free for audios 30mins and below) so you can isolate you voice with the background noise.. then overlay that enhanced audio to the existing video so you can still keep a bit of the background noise :) So love your videos and I hope to visit Australia and your shop soon 🥰
I love that there are so many people here who want to run their own bakery or work in a space like this. Meanwhile, I'm over here not at all missing the days I used to work hospitality, and absolutely no desire to spend any time baking, but enjoying watching someone else doing what they love.

Hi, I was looking for a video on what made you want to start a bakery and if there’s a back story about your love of baking. You look so young so I’m amazed what you’ve done in so little time. I’m guessing you have to be in your early to mid twenties which is so young to have so much responsibility but I applaud everything you’re doing at any age. Also, I love your packaging and you’re exactly right about aesthetics. I would choose your shop based off the packaging alone. I’m 49 and thinking this young lady has done more in a smidge of time than I’ve done in 49 years so I would love to hear your story if you don’t mind sharing it. One more question, is there any task that you absolutely hate? For me, it’s usually something so easy but I’d rather do anything else. I’m an Air Import Supervisor and I don’t mind dealing with US Customs, Airlines, Customers, etc…but what I do hate is converting currency even though it’s the easiest thing to do bc the conversion rates are always in front of me and it takes 2 seconds but I hate it so I’m curious if there’s any tasks in your shop that you would rather do anything else but that. I think it would be breaking out a new package of butter or eggs, something silly like that. I hope you read this book I wrote so hopefully we can get a video on the back story and how you got the courage to just do it. I’m definitely going to find a menu and place an order. 🎉❤
Love the video, in the future lowering the volume of the background music would help a lot beacause I was having trouble understanding everything you said. Also a little microphone you could attach to your aprion could make the quality of sound even better

Have you thought about making Brookies? Basically it’s a combination of brownies and cookies. They’re easy to make basically you put a layer of cookie dough at the bottom of the pan and put the brownie batter on top. They cook together and make a delicious treat!
