Don't play cause of injury = you're soft
Play through injury and look worse = ass
Bruv, who ever says that tho? When have you ever seen people call a player who blows out his knee, or tear his hammi etc "soft" because he doesn't play??
And I mean a relevant amount of people. Not the usual suspects on X talking crazy... That's such a cop out.
@@HopefulNihilistOG has done it with Joel Embiid on numerous occasions
it’s weird because both these dudes are right😂 when you on the court, you can’t just be excused for playing bad by saying “i was hurt” but in that same situation, you cannot fully blame someone who’s playing at 65-70% at most for not being able to do what they’ve shown they can do.
Nah dub cooked him I can’t lie. Dub used chills logic against him.
Kobe played through a right broken index finger for not just one game, one series, but the entirety of the 2010 NBA Playoffs.
You sound like chill 😂
Ik it hurts but all you need to do honestly is tape it
@@Nick-ef1hq with chilltown logic he would tell Kobe not to play because he’s injured which would probably lead to the Lakers not making it past the first round
@@davonanderson8052 probably didn’t hurt that much to Kobe because his mentality is different but to the average person that would hurt a lot more. This was his shooting hand and that whole finger was wrapped up. It wasn’t lil baby tape and he had to learn how to rotate the basketball into the hoop with that. “Put some tape on a broken finger he’ll be ight” lol
@vishtakes I've had a broken hand. Honestly does not hurt. Also, to be honest I've had a flu...I
Chilltown getting smoked because he's not using logic....he's stuck on this "if you're playing, you're fully healthy " nonsensical narrative based on emotions.
OG is right if you’re on the floor then I assume that you’re able to produce but if you can’t do anything to your standards then get off the floors and sit out
But then the criticism will turn into; he’s never available, the team needs him to make a push so he should play through things etc.
But with OG when Embiid doesn’t play when he’s hurt. He starts his hating rant on Embiid and why Embiid isn’t a top 10 player in the nba.
@@javongreen2515 I do get that part but I like at time Embiid was hurting his team more since they couldn’t really push the pace or help stop the pace when the Knicks really push them because Embiid Knee is literally messed up he can’t jump and barely move granted Embiid didn’t played bad on but you can tell in other areas of the game he couldn’t do much
@@Joshua-qc1li I mean Embiid has the skill to be top 5 in the league but he only played over 65 games once in his career so it can get frustrating I’m not saying you’re wrong on the hating part but the sixers should really think about moving on from Embiid this offseason you’re going to get a something crazy back even with his injury history
L Dub did a whole lotta yappin as usual
Joel had 1 good playoff game, it took him injuring his matchip on a non basketball play. He makes 10 shots a game and 18 free throws, zero respect.
With embiid, he shouldn't be playing. Tbh I'm very happy they got beat cause mans should not be playing with that kind of injury. But still two things can be true. Embiid is playing with that injury and still was the best player in that series, now imagine if he was healthy and oh shii.
Joel fa MVP
I actually agree with both of there points with this one
This is so dumb. Ive played sports while being injured and it can flare up or not be a bothering whil playing. Its just true. He played because he felt good enough it doesn't mean he moves the same the entire time
Chill a dumbass per usual
You can’t be obtuse like that. If my coworker is coughing and sneezing, I just can’t be like “Welp he’s at work, therefore I can assume he’s well enough to be here.” No, there are obvious tells that he’s sick and I will treat him as such.
Very very very bad comparison. Playing on one leg and with half a face is not the same thing as being sick at work. A better comparison is if you're suffering from a mental illness that is negatively impacting your working capabilities in which you should really sit it out but you can't since the whole company is relying on you to succeed since you're by far the best person in your company.
@@donaldf9055 while your example is way more extreme than mine, my point being is you wouldn’t be like, “Hey Joel, I’m clearly aware of your illness but, since you decided to work anyway, I expect to perform as if you didn’t have an illness negatively affecting your work capabilities.”
@@dariuswilliams3206 it's not more extreme at all, it's actual a much better representation because Joel isn't suffering from a flu. He literally can barely walk and he balls palsy in his left eye. Imagine LeBron or Jordan playing with one leg and one face for a whole series. They would be way worse than Joel embiid.
Ngl I read your comment and I'm literally arguing for no reason. He shouldn't be playing 100%.
If my coworker was sick, I’d tell them go home. Especially if their performance is being affected because of it.
I’m with dubbed if a guy plays hurt and he can make excuses but if he don’t play that gives you context while he played bad it’s okay to make that excuse because you guys call em soft or should not play come on chill if a guy is hurt it is what it is !!! Dubbed win this

Wow, W Dub
