I’m sorry for those of you that commented you didn’t have a loving Mother. My 87 Yr old Mother just passed away January 26, 2024. I’m broken. I will miss her the rest of my life. She was loved so very much. My daughter’s daughter wrote a speech and read it at her service. We had grandchildren, great grand daughter and 4 daughters speak. My Mother would have been very pleased. She had dementia. That’s such a terrible disease. She kept falling. My hearts broken 😞. She was such a good and loving Mother. I’ve been blessed.

Lost my mom 8 years ago on January 12th. Miss her everyday. She lived to be 92 but it still was too soon. Even if she had lived to be 1092 it still would’ve been too soon. Hug and love on your mom everyday. Tomorrow is not guaranteed.

I love this song. My Mom was not able to be the Mom he sings about. Mental illness. However, I had many other women in my small town who made up for this. I was so blessed to be raised there and have so many positive influences from each of them. In turn I parented with a intent to be everything my Mom was not able to give to me. Love, in every form...

The pain of watching her & you felt hopeless & also the pain of you never seeing, hearing or feeling her touch! There's so many endless feelings you have & I'm truly sorry for all of the traumatizing feels.
I always tell others that if they had a mother who truly loved them, treated them as a mother should treat there child is one of the many blessings to experience. But, for me my pain will always be that my mom didn't want me, don't love me, no matter what I've done to show her. Prayers for you & thank you for sharing!

While her Alzheimer’s gave her different personalities as it progressed over a ten year period, her love for me was always there until the end. 26th of December 2021 I lost my mother. I'm only son. Still I can't sleep.
Lost my mum September 20th 2022, she wasn't well but im glad she's up with God now. My partner told her when we left the evening before and I was pottering around, that he will take care of me no matter what and she can let go now we will be alright. She passed in the early hours of the morning peacefully in her sleep. Christmas is the hardest time, but im greatful.
