Thank you, I think the adapter is much better than installing the speaker metal to metal, the adapter kind of I think reduces vibration to move into the car frame.
the easiest way is to harvest the old connector and just splice its wires to the wires on your new speaker. that way you dont have to fuss with solder or brittle plastic connectors
Does anyone know if they sell the actual adapter that goes to the speakers? I've been looking all over online and can't find the correct one. I did strip the wires and just attached them to the speaker that way but I would rather have the actual harness so the connection to the speaker is better.
Has to be any easyer way can’t we just in new from the trunk and leave old one in or drill old bolts out and pull them out from the trunk I got some tin snips
Was thinking to do it. But this is ridiculous. My 200o Corolla that was so much easier. Progress I guess. One of my speakers is busted. Not worth fixing on a 14 year old Corrolla. Just cut it out. Thx for the video though.
Installed Kicker 6x9 in the rear deck in my 2017 Toyota Corolla SE. Other videos say to remove seat. Very helpfull video. Thx.
Your welcome. Saw those videos too myself.
Thank you so much. Blew out my speaker earlier this week and just ordered the ones in the description. Thanks again for putting the links.
np. glad it helped
Sar Mujhe rear speaker Ki avashyakta Hai
Thank you! I installed in a corolla 2010. A lot of sweat but the new speakers sound great😊

Thank you for the video, it was extremely helpful. Just replaced the rear deck speakers in my 2010 Camry LE

That’s exactly what I just did ✊🏻✊🏻
And use electric tape. I see some tape on my factory install.
Yeah I just bought the speakers and adapter kit in the description. I will not be soldering anything. I do have a soldering iron just in case.
Good to see noobs learning. Keep it up.

Same. If anyone knows. drop a comment and let us know.
Do not remove your weather stripping. It’s not needed. Use a trim tool to pop those panels.
thanks for the tip. hopefully these speakers last and don't have to do it another time.
Thank you for the video I see what I'm up against now.
How are these speakers holding up? I'm debating on getting these or the newer GX963 pair for this very vehicle.
still working quite well

I was so disappointed when I found out this wasn't the case. Why? Just why?
Did it come with the adapter kit? If not, can you send me the link?
Are you talking about the wiring? I just took the old wiring off and putting on the new speaker. I think I unsolder the old one.
www.crutchfield.com/g_103100/Speaker-Wiring-Harnesses.html?tp=1025 one of these might work. Not 100% sure. Someone recommended this site.
Did it sound better?
I am not the person to ask. I can't detect the difference in lots of speakers lol
me puedes regalar tus parlantes originales, que los mios se han roto, y no consigo en ningun lado en mi país :D
