Yay,, you're back with ABBA, love it! Fun fact the man Frida bumps into in the street is Lasse Hallström, the guy who directed most (all?) of their videos. And as you can see Frida is quite good at acting too!
I was in Stockholm in May and I visited the doorway she fell over and ran up and down the same steps.

This seemed like an ode to Frida's modeling days that she did when she first moved to Stockholm to suppliment her income. She absolutely loves clothes and is quite the seamstress in her own right. The song has the typical contrasts that ABBA exploits so well:
a soft opening melody with a sweet solo by Agnetha,
then moving on to a powerful chorus
with one of the best and most beautiful harmonies by Agnetha and Frida
In my opinion it is one of the best songs on the album "The Visitors"
It was #25 in the UK, a great brand for any band or singer,
but it was not what ABBA expected, or what was expected of ABBA
(for me it deserved to be Top 10)
And maybe could be an influence of tango in their melody, but not exactly

Such a great song and the slip coming out the door was real and Frida herself wanted it kept in the video. I was never a fan of the 'f**k you Benny' haircut but it sure damn made a statement.

This song belongs to the visitors album ... this album is a Masterpiece.. period
This was her "divorce" haircut. She and Benny separated and she decided to just cut it all off. It's a great song, too. Underrated!
The story goes Benny came home one day and told her he had met someone else. That could make anyone heartbroken and it must've been a shock to her. So she decided to shed her previous self and cut off her hair. At the time she had a perm so it didn't look that good at first. But when it straighten it got better. Personally I preferred her with longer hair, but I understand why she did it.
@@electromaniac1 I get it, too. Frida looked utterly miserable near the end and just wanted to be a different person. I do think she made the style her own during her solo career. She looks fabulous working with Phil Collins.

@@Vikinggirl1679Mona was not pregnant then. Benny “emotionally cheated” on Frida, but he did not actually cheat. Frida and Benny separated in November of 1980. Ludvig was born in 1982. Frida has said that their relationship was a bit strained (by the time he met Mona). Both benny and Frida have said that Benny never physically cheated on her, he just fell in love with someone else.
@@cerdas1814 sorry but that's not true. Benny and Frida divorced in November 81 ( just a week after her birthday) Benny and Mona married in December of81 1 just weeks later and their baby was born on January 2 1982. Mona was pregnant. Quickie divorce when Frida found out

There are plenty of great songs to listen to still, but unfortunately some of them are only audio. Even if you don't react to them, (but I really hope you do!) you should give them a try!
He could watch fanmade videos of the songs that are audio only. It's mostly only with pictures of them but that's better than not reacting to these songs.
