The amazing thing about ABBA's catalogue is that for every single, there is another couple of tracks that could just as easily have been huge hits. This is one of them. How may artists have songs this good tucked away as hidden gems that deserve much more exposure? Frida's voice here is MAGNIFICENT. God, I love them.

It’s Saturday morning here in Melbourne and I’m loving this! Imagine what it was like for me, a young girl, idolising Frida and Agnetha, while all this was actually new and happening and now!!! It was electrifying! They have influenced so many young girls, and I’m so blessed to have been there. They’re such beautiful, very very real, good people. Loving this, thank you!❤️

I have all nine ABBA albums, and 75 of their songs in my music library. I love them all and I've been listening to them for about 47 years. This song is my favorite. It just refreshes my spirit and lifts me up every time. Of course, most of their songs do that, but this one especially. I highly recommend "Move On" from the same album.

This is a very deep song in the cult album that is “The Album”, comprehensive masterpiece with nine works of art as diverse as they are magnificent
"One man One woman" (1977)
has deep lyrics, (I love the phrase: 'our love is a precious thing…')
a great interpretation by Frida (heartfelt and strong)
and a powerful entrance from Agnetha to add a verse before each chorus and make it magnificent,
a solid backing music with a great final,
and beautiful instrumental parts
It is one of the best ballads of Frida in the leading voice
(and is in my Top5 of all ABBA songs with Frida in lead voice)
"ABBA The Album" (1977) is a golden pearl
It is full of excellent numbers That is why this beautiful song is a little more relegated and with logic ;
It is very difficult to beat the hit "Take a chance on me",
the majestic "Eagle",
the creative "The name of the game" ,
the andean "Move on",
the powerful rock "Hole in your soul',
and if that weren't enough,
there is the mini musical
"The girl with the golden hair"
that includes powerful tracks like
"Thank you for the music" , "I wonder" & "I'm a marionette'
But not only the song is very good (8pts in my opinion)
The official video is a beauty, how they play with the images of them,
entering interspersed and leaving with their faces
(it was filmed in the same time with another song, "Thank you for the music")

Ha. Breakfast. ABBA filmed a series of commercials for National (Panasonic) in Australia, and there's one where you can see Frida using an automatic juicer and bringing a nice glass of orange juice to Benny at his piano 😁 Some lovely shots of a fancy toaster too!

Just thought I would say if you like reggae type music there is a great ABBA song called Tropical Loveland. They wrote and dedicated it to Australia when they were on tour. Frida sings it. There is one from abba2shay that has a real cute intro from Frida you would like I think. She has a cute accent and lovely speaking voice. Nice footage of them on an outing too. Take care

Dude, sometimes you're too apologetic for obsessing over Frida. I'm an ABBA superfan *and* gay *and* a feminist and I can tell you, it's totally fine to lust after her 😀. She's a gorgeous woman! She was always overlooked compared to Agnetha and in fact some people used to make fun of her, believe it or not. What's AWESOME about you is that you are SO complimentary of Frida no matter what video you're watching - even in later videos where she looks a bit older or has changed her hairstyle drastically, you rightly still big her up, unlike some people.
