I think detaching from social media is the most difficult, yet most rewarding things you can do for your mental health. It's just so tough to do when your life literally requires a social media presence for work (musicians, actors, celebrities etc). Honestly glad that Lorde's happy now.

She seems so at peace with herself and that all stems from the fact she stays away from social media, takes time out for herself away from work, and appreciates nature and the more powerful forces of our world.
I think we should all take a leaf out of her book and see what it’s like to live life completely disconnected and putting yourself first. I’d imagine it would reduce a huge amount of the anxiety that a lot of people suffer on a daily basis.
@Yaiza Lopez Garcia San Roman I completely take your point but I’m not saying you need to take 5 months out of the year to completely stop working. I’m just questioning why we generally need to work so hard these days. There are certain cultures around the world that prioritise rest and relaxation which also benefits their productivity in work. Western societies seen to push the message that you need to work over 8 hours a day, and minimal holidays in order to be successful. All I’m saying is sometimes we need to put a little more emphasis on taking care of yourself which would pay dividends into your work life and hopefully you’d enjoy it more and more motivated working.
I love this! I deleted my social media accounts and stopped making youtube videos (I do still watch UA-cam though!) and although I've changed nothing else... my life has dramatically changed! I recommened it 10/10 I experience so much less anxiety!
@@AthenaIsabella I am slowly phasing out social media out of my life because I see it as low quality pacification so I’m trying to replace that time with higher quality hobbies such as reading where I feel like I am learning more or gaining a skill in the process.

She is what she is, a captivating enigma. With a quirky touch of brilliance. Which comes out in her music and lyrics! In spite of all the manufactured hype and marketing in music!! Every now and then... Somebody comes along who has that elusive "something". - That sets them apart! Therefore whether people love or hate them. Which is often the case in these situations!! - Doesn't matter!! As they have "it!" Which is what David Bowie saw in Ella, back in 2013!

I stay SAYING, Zane Lowe is THE BEST thing To ever happen to Apple Music (the company) because he doesn't ask the"celebrity" he interviews the human, their experience with the talent/art. Someone said a guest could sneeze, and Zane could go, "so tell us what was your flow of thought between the person you were before you sneezed and after the fact"🥺🤣he really is thoughtful, Barbz,, i remember how he handled the Nicki interview when she was emotional snd stuff and she was ushering into the Queen era but it straining for her with the hate train against her, and she even later said how much she loves Zane.
