@@BMfilmlondon yup, learned a few more things: - at full tilt, check that the AC on the left vents *and* right vents is cold. Due to old servos or low refrigerant (possible leaks) the right (front passenger) vents might blow warmer air than the left (driver’s side) - checking for the (known) sagging headliner issues - the center console has rubber pads at the bottom corners - rear vents for AC work Other than these mostly minor and AC things, not much else to look out for - love this vehicle
@@BMfilmlondon anytime. state of the plastic trim will give you an idea how long it's been left in the sun - if it's worn and faded that's a clear indicator it hasn't been garaged / loved as much. I had a plastic coolant coupler crack on me but it looked fine visually - only indicator was the color of the pipe _inside_ the rubber hose so not much to look for there IMO
In 2019, I got my 2014 Cayenne when it has 75k miles, it now has 130k miles without any major issues. From a local used car dealer, specialized in exotic car, in Southern California, by the way.
First of all, thanks for tuning in. That's great to hear that it didn't have issues and has been a reliable driver! About the dealers, sorry if it wasn't clear, I was referring mainly to the 2008 through 2010 that are getting older. Dealers tend to not care about rust, at least in our experience. I'm sure the 2014 is faring much better :) Thanks again for the comment
