Here's a back story: This was at the time when people had criticized her for doing the national anthem at Obama's second inauguration lip synced. So she was named performer of the Superbowl Halftime show. At the conference, she sung the National Anthem live. This performance was when she gotten the last laugh because she shut it down... Literally because as soon the second half of the superbowl started, they lost power and it took them a while to get the power back up.

That’s the same bs people said about The Oscars performance of Whitney and Mariah, lambs lied saying Mariah’s mic was lowered. Why? Whitney (even during this time past her prime) had a more powerful voice than Mariah. Stop making up things. There’s no credible proof that Kelly and Michelle’s mic was lowered unless you count biased Twitter fans. It couldn’t possibly be that Kelly and Michelle’s voice was not as strong as Beyoncé’s because they haven’t been touring like Beyoncé and they were out of breath during this performance right? It has to be that “someone ordered” that their mics be lower than Beyoncé’s right? How foolish. People love to discredit Beyoncé but here she is, 39 years old still killing the game. This superbowl performance was iconic. Another iconic performance I think you shoud watch is Beyonce at Coachella. I think she performed for an hour or two if not more. So you should watch the performance in increments. She based her performance as a homecoming. Homecomings are big for HBCUs ( historically black colleges and universities). So she actually recruited HBCU students to be a part of her performance (dancers, musicians, and everything). She also brought some other geusts to perform with her (I would tell you but I don't want to spoil the whole thing. It was so iconic, they called her performance Beychella. Just something I thought you would find interesting.
Beyoncé has so many iconic live performances like Glastonbury when she was early stages of pregnancy with blue. She went off at 1 point throwing up but she was flawless and faultless. Amazing set, I was in audience. She looked absolutely gorgeous in the flesh. Her vocals amazing unreal like we were in ore someone looking so stunning visually as well as dancing and vocals on point, while in heels. She is mesmerising to look at. She had crowd at palm of hands. Even the rock/indie male fans couldn’t deny what they witnessed amazing performance set
