It's funny how Peter stands there and lends his INSANELY amazing voice to a track that was his own anyway and he seems so humble being in the company he's in. He's the icon. He's a pioneer in this music. Let alone music altogether. I miss the best part of the 70's and 80's.
This song had me in tears because the emotion of his voice is a million times stronger than the original studio version. And his vocalizing the synth part was so pitch perfect - it is my favorite version of this song. Thank you Peter!
His voice is so rich and haunting and sexy and dark and powerful -- point is -- Peter has one of the best voices in rock music and growing up listening to his music I have grown up in love with his voice. Never get sick of listening to this!
Peter Murphy is British not Australian. He now lives in Turkey. You can really feel Peters vocal power in this setting , I love these clips (with Reznor and friends) I wish this stuff was made into an album. One of the best live musicians you can currently see.
I am embarrassed to admit, this is the first time I am hearing this voice! OMG. I love this voice....song is great, deep, painful....
If Peter Murphy starts a cult, I’m IN!

I love that there is no studio. You know Trent was like "fuck it, we'll just do it right here in the hotel room" cause that's just how he rolls.
Leave the memories alone. RIP

Johnny Cash and David Bowie had a kid.
2:58 That "Mamma ma maaaaa" killed this great version. There was a keyboard right there, Peter. Why?
