Very nice size for a fixed bush blade. Materials are good but wish they offered a kydex option. Very neutral design which is something I like very much in a fixed blade knife. Keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.
Lionsteel are my new favorite fixed blades, and some of their folders look really nice as well, but a bit out of my price range. I ordered the M4 and B41 but neither have been delivered yet, hopefully by the end of the this week I'll have them. I also ordered a Kydex sheath for the M4. I'll get a Kydex for the B41 as well, but haven't ordered one yet because I couldn't find one in black. I'm surprised Lionsteel isn't more popular, imo no one is making more beautiful knives right now.
Did your b41 arrive? I have one and its my favourite knife. I own loads of knives as well. Moras fallkniven esee tops etc but i prefer the lionsteel. Really well made and balanced knife. I dont know what their others are like but im really happy with the b41
@@darrenlamb5640 Yes sir! It's an awesome knife. I can't decide if I like the m4 or B41 more. I think overall I like the B41 a little bit more, but I've been using the M4 as my EDC since I have a Kydex sheath for it and it's a bit shorter. I modded the sheaths of both. check them out photos.app.goo.gl/Tjx7XwFaPSeQKenv8
@@Isaiiahii cool. Has a native American feel about it IMO. I have had the m4 (and m5) in the past but personally i prefer the b41. That little extra bit of length is perfect. That said the handle on the m4 was super comfortable. For the money lionsteel makes great knives.
I like the Lionsteel B41, I own the Lionsteel B35 which I like even more for the slim design and size. Perfect for EDC and field use. I had a M4 M-390 but sold it because it was a difficult steel to hand sharpen on a Diamond stone .I like the design of the M4 but hate the steel. The B35 is a really nice fixed blade , and All these Lionsteel fixed blades cost less than Spyderco folders and other expensive folding knives for the quality you get and great value for your money. Buy a quality cheaper folder as a backup and a Lionsteel fixed blade main blade for daily carry.
This is a really great knife. I have the micarta version and its my favourite knife. And i own a lot of knives. Definitely an improvement over the original b40 as well. Im not a big fan of blocky handles.
for food the M4 is better , both awesome , one stainless one carbon with 7 to 8% Chrome makes it tougher edge , i love both wish i could buy both , i hope you enjoy them with the best of health and happiness you and loved ones

Occasionally I do go for fixed blades. Don't have any of LionSteel's yet -- *stress YET* -- but they're definitely "on my radar."
I love lionsteel knives, I have m5, m4, m, b35, and b41. I am so fortunate to have lionsteel knives

Sadly I haven't been able to order one. Money is, disappointingly, a real thing. I'll catch one eventually

May i ask where you've seen a kydex sheath for the b41?
This thing gets corriosion really quick...
Peter not sure if I agree with you on that sheath, there's something to be said for a well made one!

Very nice knife , I EDC a WINKLER belt knife!!!

Look like another very good looking knife and sheath combo! Thanks so much for the look Peter!!
Very cool knife. Love when a company keeps it simple and makes a quality tool at a good price. Great review 👍

I've heard lionsteel makes some quality blades. I've got a SR22A coming. Figured I'd try out the company.
Really hard to improve on the basic design, so they went for materials. Nice knife.
Seems very nice !! I don’t own anything by Lionsteel . I do have an MKM knife and love it . Thanks for the video !! Take care Peter
Like I said before don't really buy fixed blades anymore, but you my friend give amazingly informative reviews.
I am a fan of fixed blade knives. I have a Kukri coming soon.
Great review Peter! I guess just on appearance and price, I like the M4. Have a great weekend!👋
I think the sleipner steel is stronger than the m390 though. IMO m390 is more suited to folders
Looks like just a good old fixed blade for all your everyday needs.
Yep thats exactly what it is. Its sold as a bushcrafter but IMO its just a great general purpose utility/camp knife.
