- Mohammed Hijab was upset about some comments I made more than 7 months ago in a podcast with the 3 Muslims where we reacted to a debate between Zeeshan and a Christian.
During the podcast, I praised Zeeshan for his work, and I gave a little correction / advice to the brother.
I also reached out to them privately in the DMs regarding this matter, but it seems they did not see the messages.
Sadly, brother Mohammed Hijab felt that I was refuting brother Zeeshan or attacking him and decided to advise me publicly and demand an apology.
For the sake of brotherhood and for leaving an argument and for the sake of unity, I am more than happy to publicly apologize to the brothers if they were offended by anything and if this means we can unite feesabeelilah.
Finally, as a reminder from Allah, I end with this Ayah:
"And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided." [Quran 3:103]

I like M Hijab but I am highly dissapointed in him not researching brother Gabriels work before making that video. MH and smile to jannah guy and Ali Dawah are just simpletons. They read up some stuff and act as though they are great scholars. But they lack the minimal attitude of scholars. If a Muslim hears a Christian or someone else insulting the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he must deny and be harsh, and it is permissible to insult him because he is the initiator, so how can he not support the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace?! But it is weird that Hijab finds it offensive when someone else feels the same about Zeeshan.. And comments on it..

MH made some harsh statements against GR calling him some names.
I don’t think this was appropriate nor did MH know that GR is a student of knowledge. MH makes plenty of mistakes and this was another one. This isn’t funny anymore and he is in need of serious Naseeha with his words towards his Muslim brothers. GR was respectful towards Zeeshan and seems MH understood it the wrong way.
This is not hate, as i like you brothers channel and even I made the mistake of judge GR beforehand, but this one from MH is not acceptable. May Allah guide us all.

Great response Brother Gabriel Al Romani, much respect💯 I personally don't see anything wrong with what you said, but there is space for difference in opinions. However the point you mention at 6:55 is so so important because that played a role in causing alot of confusion and divisions in the ummah. It is always best to maintain the brotherhood especially within in the dawah sphere, so pros to you for the respectful response. A lot of people don't know this, but one of the reasons the ummayyad khliphate fell is because of Greek philosophy. They allowed it to run rampant and as a result, dozens of sects were formed and this eventually desintegrated the fabric that held the empire together : Islam.

Please watch Saajid Lipham video with Knowledge north about the Ali dawah podcast he addresses this as well subhanallah. Thats why Br Gabriel used clips of it because even though the other video was before this one it turns out Br saajid and knowledge north were spot on. Gabriel is the one who needs to learn manners and fix his attitude and tell him not to come for da'ees unprovoked. Why does he feel the need to publicly shame brothers for minor things like knitting and light banter? It just causes more harm than benefit. Even if they don't respond to his dm's it doesn't necessitate a public outing. There are enough brothers in their communities that can give them naseeha if they overstepped but Gabriel comes across like he has superiority complex.

I noticed that Muhammad Hijab doesn't take well to criticism. He reacts either in a condescending manner or he gets tense and wants to hit back. No one is saying you cannot insert humor or sarcasm into a debate and no one is saying that you cannot be passionate. What we are saying is that basic guidelines of respect and etiquette need to be followed.

I think the guiding principal here is to follow the way of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and ‘respond with that which is better.’ In other words, take the high road. Respond to filth, with cleanliness, respond to arrogance with humble clarity, respond to mockery with dignity, respond to evil with good.

It is obligatory upon you to affirm His attributes and to hold as your creed what they indicate just as Imaam Maalik said, “Allaah, the Most High ascended over His Throne.” The ascending is something known. Known in its meaning and how is unknown. So we should never ever ask how in relation to the attributes of Allaah as this is knowledge of the unknown and we should never try to explain this just as the Borther Zeeshan tried to as we don't have the knowledge or understanding to. It is something only Allaah and those who He allows to know from His creation. May Allaah bless us to understand His Deen and keep us firm upon it until we meet him.

One of the examples I learned in giving dawah was from Prophet Musa when he was sent to Fir’awn. Whenever Fir’awn would insult Prophet Musa and made fun of him, Musa never lost focus, he would continue to stay on topic and continue to highlight the importance of worshipping ALLAH alone. Fir’awn would threaten him but Musa would continue on giving dawah and highlighting the fact that ALLAH is also the God of fir’awn himself and that fir’awn is not God until Fir’awn got annoyed and angry. No matter Musa stayed focus and polite in his dawah
This is why at least once or twice a year I listen to the lecture series of the Prophets from Anwar Awalaki (may Allah have mercy on him and forgive him for his mistakes and grant him Jannah ameeen). Those series really shows us the best examples of giving dawah

I can credit the arguments of Mohammad Hijab for making me question Atheism and reconcile with Islam, however I agree with brother Gabriel and brother Saajid regarding this matter. Well we are humans and we make mistakes, hopefully Brother Hijab realizes his.

I don't like the ways of Mohammed hijab and his team
I find them leaning more towards topics that are for catching the publics eye instead of genuine knowledge. Look at the difference between both of their channel videos. The other side is like a joke town.

@@dhussss14 as the brother mentioned it in the video, the Allâh coming down is something that happens in the unseen. The unseen does not fit the logical.
As for brother Zeeshans behaviour, just know that, the sahabas and all the prophets that ever lived were belittled and joked upon on their faces and none of them reacted the way the park Muslims do. Those debates are just an entertainment for jokesters. I've watched atleast over a hundred of their vids since 2018, I remember the sort of arrogance that used to get into me and how I enjoyed laughing at non-muslims and making fun of them. That isn't the way of the salaf. If you're going to say otherwise, then please prove it's the right way. All the brother did was advise on behaviour.

When I began my journey to Islam I began watching brother Hijab's videos and yes he is a very knowledgeable man alhamdulillah but seems lately he just wants to fit in be "cool" and just like it's said this is not from Islam. I agree with you bro. I have seen this sort of behaviour from other muslim youtubers as well and it's off putting. There's one where a group of muslims gang up on callers and laugh at the callers while they talk, I felt it unislamic, it doesn't reflect the character of good muslims. Can you imagine if the Prophet (saws) laughed at people with his group while they tried to make their point to him? People would be turned away from the way of Allah.

I disagree, such things repel people off. I have seen plenty of comments where they were repelled from such behaviour. Muslims must have charismatic and noble aura, otherwise whats the difference between us and the likes of David Wood and Apus, even Apus has some manners in his talks but hijab lying on the ground like this, imagine Jordan Peterson doing like that.

To everyone who's reading my comment .. **Like me or not**, Muhammad Hijab's way of dawah and mockery I believe serves more the ego of the follower brothers and crushes & drives away whoever was debating him. It's not a Knock-out battle, the way to call to islam is through mercy and manners NOT belittling others and laughing at them! .. I know I don't put in a fraction of the effort he does, but I cringe when I see his ways of Dawah and I feel remorse for the debatees that they will be closed off FURTHER away from the truth
Hijab mocks only those who already mocked Islam publicly (e.g. David Wood or Apostate). As Ibn Taymiyyah had said "Whenever the speaker had wronged us, we are not obliged to respond with what is best." On the other hand, Hijab does not mock those who are sincere or he doesn't know (e.g. see his debates with professors, or dawah in the park.) To say that his way is always mockery is a lie and a cause of Fitnah brother. I do agree that sometimes he lets his ego takes hold of him, but we must never exaggerate the truth.

It's not like someone insults your mother and you retaliate the same way, dawah is different not to mention MILLIONS see these manners & videos. There is NO retaliation when it comes to DAWAH (Allah doesn't need an insult defender) ... I also didn't say always but it's definitely a Trend .. I'm simply put off by his ways as a muslim and he uses street slang mockery even, but I'm definitely one of those who would have been driven away if I were not to be a muslim alhamdulilah.

But as I said, Hijab only mocks those who mocked Islam, which, although not the best approach, is justifiable, as I quoted Ibn Taymmiyyah. In fact, he said that quote about a hadith in Al-Bukhari, when Abu Bakar mocked a man who insulted the Prophet and the companions, and at that instance, the prophet did not reprimand Abu Baker. Thing is, people can get emotional when someone insults our faith in basely manner, and so long as the emotional backlash isn't anything that God forbade, then it is admissible. But you are right, it is not the best way in today's day and age of media, especially the recent debate of a certain brother with a certain atheist which turned to a slang-calling mockery instead of a debate, all of which, will drive the oblivious people away.

Everything must be handled with absolute dignity, lest this turns into anything ugly.. we love and respect both of you for the sake of Allah..and we do benefit from both of you.. let this issue not hurt the Dawah in any way..some people can be fickle minded and easily discard one of the speakers for all times to come and that shall hurt the Dawah..so let’s be careful..

Subhan'Allah! I totally agree with what brother Gabriel mentioned in the podcast! Sometimes, they go ahead and curse people directly and Ali dawah laughing on the side. They actually become just like the other person. This is not what Islam teaches us!! And imagine those 'following them' firstly don't "follow" them as they are no scholars so please learn only from the authentic scholars who are on the right path.
