Keep it, you can always build it later. You will never find another. It will make killer videos on building it. And you have the ability and skill to build it young man.
According to the federal HESCHLAVVO law, it is already forbidden in Switzerland to drive combustion engines on mountain passes from 2025. In France, the SCHLABOUBVE regulates that fossil vehicles that produce fine dust are prohibited in all cities from 2025. The BABVVO in Germany will bann exhaust gas pollution from 2027 and that is what will happen in entire EU also bann of all tires and brakes because of fine dust!!!
The more I work on my 1966, the more I realize how good these first generation cars were. Easy to replace almost anything, parts widely available in aftermarket. Young teenagers who have no idea what they're looking at give me the thumbs up. Timeless body style!
Those wheels were not available for that car when new. 1968 for sure, maybe '67. Car originally had either styled steel wheels or at the least regular steelies. Be interesting to see the Marti report on it. Those cars have many lives from build date to present. Wild !!! Congratulations.
There is a join where the spring hanger goes. Chassis plated. The outside is sort of there the inside GONE. I see rusty rims often, the tyre has had a tube and the water gets in and rusts them out. K Code? Rare but needs as major resto by someone who can do it. More than just fitting some floors
Call Dennis Collins, he'll buy it, I know you can get all replacement parts-n-panels for those cars nowadays, but that car is rougher than a stucco bathtub, lol, good-luck with that, and thanks for sharing.
Good For You to want to save it. Especially at your age. Somebody Raised you right. Just to make you feel better, I have a friend that is reviving a 63 Fairlane K-code that's just as bad as yours. Like you said they only made so many and they all deserve to be saved when found. Good Luck!!!
I've owned several classic mupstairs. I wish you all the luck to put that old horse back together. You have severe rust issues, to say the least. Yes, they are rare, but is it worth the money to repair the car due to the severe ruse damage. By the time you buy all the sheet metal You're going to have an insurmountable investment.
I have one same color that is not a rust bucket at all, only surface rust. Mostly real straight body. Off the road/inside mostly for 45 years. No drivetrain and needs a restoration, but only 1% of the mustangs were Hi Po's. Down the road being the rarest and hottest option it will be right up with fastbacks and converts if not more valuable.
I went to school in Austin, TX with a Guy that had a 65 High Performance, but his tail lights were not like those, covered the whole back. Don't know if they were after market, or an Option.
if you arent capable to do the restoration sell it . ur lucky to find a car like that. ive restored and owned dozens of mustangs in my lifetime and appreaciated every car i worked on, good luck to you young man wishing the best for you . keep ur dreams alive
Could just put the serial number part of the fender in a better car. And remember that a high performance 289 has the big harmonic balancer and solid lifters
That is a real rust bucket but it still should be restored. I would do it by using a different unibody. There are exactly the same and that is the way it would be repaired properly if done by a body shop or dealer.
68 gt wheels, also no exhaust thru the lower rear valance, no foglights, no m-u-s-t-a-n-g , letters on lower front fenders And biggest thing to check is the vin # on the drivers side top stamped on the fenderwell under the hood, if it has no K its not an original. Also the instrument cluster is incorrect for a GT. Rocker panel mouldings are incorrect, should have a gt stripe. No woodgrain steering wheel either.
@@iamdavid8996 It doesn't have to be a GT to be a K code car. They're individual options. Those wheels are for 69GT's and 68 GT's, 69 being the last year of the GT option until the fox body years
The Hipo engine you have a lead on, does it have a VIN stamped into it? Most K code blocks got the vin stamped into them. If no VIN does it have a casting number that would work with the build date of the car?
left frnder has serial nbr. rt fender has same nbr under fender. . check k code register you will find this is a 64.5 . you can find parts thru pony parts and other sorces. dont give up could be worth upwards of 40000.

I'd say keep it and try your best to restore this car. If you can't do it, like everyone else is saying, sell it to Dennis Collins because he'll guarantee he'll buy it top dollar and restore it
No way would I get rid of that if I had the capability of bringing it back right. I would sell another 'lesser' car if I needed to make room in the fleet and wallet. But, if you bring it back would it be a driver? There isn't much point if it wasn't going to be. Cars that stay in the shed or on a trailer aren't really cars.
Dennis Collins of coffee walk get in touch with him hell be the one guy that will fix it for show please contact him tell him Ray Phillip's told you about him I'm here in Oklahoma
You will kick yourself in the ass if you sell it .I've been in your position having titleless cars .if I were you I'd restore that and offload some of your other projects I understand sedimental attachments to things though

Those are the 68 up wheels for the mustang and torinos. An option
This is sad to see such car, rotted and rusted like that. I hope you'll be able to rebuild it in the future, but it's a massive bodywork incoming.
Keep it! There is no time limit on when it needs restored. But if you just sell Dennis Collins is the guy.
Dennis is a joke. I tried selling him an old jeep he said wasn't worth nothing sold couple weeks later for 900.00.
@@fordnut4914 900.00 IS nothing to Dennis Collins.

My recommendation also but expect that he might just flip it to someone else, so know that upfront, of course anyone you sell to might do the same.
Such a nice looking car. The bodysm shape is perfect

Sometimes ya just need to buy a title! But that is a rare find!! That needs to be built back up and road worthy again.

F'ing Florida is as bad as our Texas gulf coast for rust, but somehow my 66 has minimal rust. I'll repair that permanently with welded patches
Awesome! Nice unload and Shelby would have appreciated the chickens too. 😂
I have a k code 289 motor in my 66 love to get ahold of that car make it all original
Dennis Collins he is fair and he can tell you everything about the car you want to know
Congrats, great score! 👍
If you need a title for any car in any state look into the Vermont loophole. There are youtube videos on the topic.
do not use a forklift to lift a car you don't want to damage unless you put proper supports underneath
Sell the Boat motors, keep the K code.

I seen enough at 6:16. Thing is gone. Needs a rebody if it is a matching numbers drivetrain.

I am pretty sure there were also some autos. I know some of the hertz shelbys were autos

It’s not cut , it broke in half where the inside bracket for the tie down hook should be. Typical mustang rot point.
Good luck with it.🤔👍
By how badly the Mustang is rotted out, it looks like it spent it's life in the north.

Did someone snag the vin and the front fender to make a fake k code or to complete one. What a bummer about the dash. Crazy to see so much rusted away
subframe connectors, cage and a Tet'Ness Racing sticker ❤

Looks like you have a title and VIN major rust, unless you're doing the welding might be cheaper to re-body.
Keep it and your channel will grow
Did you use simply green or some other kinda cleaner that's what caused your aluminum to do that
That ride needs to go back to %100 factory
Strip it, put it on the rotisserie and weld that unibody back together. New Torque boxes are available. Do it!

so it sat in the dealership for nearly 10 years before someone bought it?
Never seen bumpers rust like that!!! At least not on a Mustang...
If you want to sell it- I am very interested- I am finishing a 66 A code convertible now and would love to do a K code!
Laurence M. Byrne is in Coconut Beach, Florida...
That's a great find
Keep it and restore it a little at a time, that can be part of your retirement fund…..that would be my claim😂
Oof she is rough, I understand you want to see credentials. This one is not for novice car enthousiast who is looking for a project.
After watching the whole vid. you tell us it doesn't have an engine or trans? I don't think it's worth restoring. If the car was all there, maybe.
My god over half has rusted away 😩
I'd put it in YOUR collection!

Get the Marti report before you put it up for sale if possible. Do video on it once you have the report.
You can only get a Martin report on 1967 and newer for the mustang.
Not the stock wheels
You can talk to the goonzquad they repair cars .
Keep the K-Code get rid of the 6-cyl. Hub cap not for that mustang.
No engine??
You can tell the engine bay is empty by how high the front of the car is sitting
@@ryanmuir6338 correct, I should have noticed.
Not worth restoring. You don’t have the k code engine or the t10 4 speed. The engine is what made it special

Talk toDennis Collins in Wylie Tx at Collins brothers jeep
That has Dennis Collins name all over it
