John Deere S170 Repairs After My Brush Cutting Experience

It was a dusty and risky job, but the first mow on the farm is done. My fingers are crossed that the next time will be easier. In the meantime, let's get this mower back in tip top shape.

You cannot blame a man for trying... I thought you did a much better job than I could have! Thanks very much for the tips...and the efforts to share!!! Happy mowing! I will try to do a better job on my own machine now that I have a better idea of how it's done!💯percent awesome!

Terrible job. You only grind the top side of the blade at 30 degrees or 15 for mulch. They aren't knives. What kind of balance was that, ridiculous. Just get new blades those look 100 years old, and at least balance with a level nail next time.
