Just bought a 9 Pro XL to replace my 6 Pro, which in turn replaced a 4XL and a 2XL before. Looking forward to receiving it from rhose Google folk in the next couple of days. personally i'd say the s24 because of it's qualcomm chipset but it depends on a few different factors like whether you like OneUI or stock android, which has the better screen, battery life etc.
Is it only me that is really struggling to get excited about all the AI shenanigans on the pixel. It seems to be pretty much it's only selling point while my S22 ultra still wipes the floor on everything else. Most of this fluff is only free for the first year anyway.

The phone tech has peaked around the s21 era...everything released after that time have REALLY been updates... Not upgrades. With the pixel lets be honest you're in it for the software not hardware...which again, has already peaked. Me personally I enjoy the pixel line. I don't game on my phone so I don't really care that aspect. If I wanted to game on a phone I'd get an ROG phones instead of Google or samsung
Been using pixel 9 since launch,I have seen previous pixels had reception issues however pixel 9 has the same or better mobile reception than the iPhone 15 I have , WiFi is also better , I have a WiFi extender installed and without fail iPhone will always stay with the weakest signal however pixel 9 will always change to the strongest signal automatically if that makes sense

Google assistant just kept popping asking, wanting me to ask it a question. Kind of worried of security issues now. If someone can say "Hey Google" on a UA-cam video, how can it cause to apply that action to my phone?
Hmm strange does it really pop up that commonly as many years before? Google made it so it activates with your voice only. Coz they record and keep a sample of it. In fact, if you change phones and provided you have not manually deleted your voice sample, the voice carries over, so you don't need to set up voice activation on another device for Google Assistant.
And incidentally, we (most people interested in image generation, I think) have a computer for this purpose and dozens of more or less free services offering it.

Perhaps, and unless some of the useful AI features don't make it to the Pixels, there's a chance this device will have unique useful features, sadly among some of the rubbish as well. The Call Notes or Summary feature is killer, if is available in a country or region you reside in and the Screenshot one is definitely a life saver, coz we should never underestimate having the ability of finding key details at our fingertips which for the moment this device does alone.
