I do wish this series caught on in the English speaking side of things; it continues to be huge in Japan! It's great how it captures people outside mecha fandom as well, considering it's a love letter to the genre directed by the legendary Masami Obari. One of the greatest things is, Bravern himself wasn't featured in ANY of the promotion before the show's airing. It was advertised as a typical militaristic "real robot" show, so for the first two episodes to go, "this is actually super robot BL"... this series was insane to watch week to week.

We agree! We love the show and hope more people find it. We had no idea they didn't promote Bravern himself! That's a great bit of trivia, thanks!
