From factory Android Auto works only via USB connection. After activation of wireless Android Auto works also via wifi connection without the need to connect the phone via USB connection.

Can you tell us how to do what you accomplished on the video? Whats the point of it?
How did you manage to connect via Wireless / Bluetooth, I have my device Samsung S23 connected to the car (Formentor aswell) and Android Auto doesn't seem to work without the cable.
It needs to be activated via diagnostic equipment.

Why can't mine connect via cable?
Most likely the cable hasn't got the sufficient bandwidth.
